The phone hasnt been released yet, so I doubt that story about it stuffing up is true...
Gee, some people are just jealous coz their still locked in on their 24 month contract and cant afford to upgrade to the new Flagship Nokia device.
Got this phone after hearing its currently the best phone on the market.Had problems within the first week was sent a replacement and its exactly the same. Shame as after hearing so much good stuff its actually been the worse phone I've ever had....such a disapointment.
the best ov the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
simply no match
900 USD?
i heard it was 749...
dzine, that link has nothing to do with mobile phones, let alone the N95!
As for the SE W850i comparison with the N95 8gb: the N95 would kick arse over the SE model. The features of the N95 outweigh the W850i's by miles! (eg. The N95 has GPS, a bigger screen, hardware graphics accelerator, stereo speakers, dual slider and office support just to name a few!)
Prices for the N95 8gb will be around the AU $1400 mark. So do a currency conversion if ur planning on getting it in another country.
Availability will be most likely 1st or 2nd week of November so just a few weeks away!!! :-D
P.S. Theres also a rumour that Telstra will be getting the N95i version and Optus will be getting the 8gb version. There are slight differences but I think this is due to the NextG network being more compatibile with the N95i. So its worth asking ur local dealer which one their getting!
Hey all,I remembered posting one of my posts up here so I want to ask a question to Dani...The sony ericsson W850i has 2 mp camera while N95 8GB has 5mp.W850i does not have quickoffice or any office stuff while N95 8GB is like a mini office assistant to anyone who is on the go...Even the controversial Iphone loses out to the N95 8GB in terms of features, except the N95 8GB does not have any touchscreen..What is the use of touchscreen?I personally own an O2 xda zinc and it has been giving me problems with its screen...
So...if you want a great 'multimedia' computer,go for the N95 8GB!!!By the way, anyone knows when will it be out in Singapore?I have saved enough and I am dying to get it.I have traded in my O2 xda zinc and have bought a Nokia N80ie as my second phone..Anyone knows the price in Singapore dollars?Hope I can get a reply soon.Thank you in advance!!N95 8GB all the way!!!
Nah man we mean the W850i Walkman .......its similar to N95 but its just a SE
N95 8GB and W850i are Both = Black
N95 8GB and W850i are Both = Music Phones
N95 8GB and W850i are Both = Slider's
N95 8GB and W850i are Both = 8GB compatible
this is what i mean there both similar !!!!!!
I think in the specifcation sheet you have mention the phone support Java but in Nokia specifcation sheet this phone does not support Java i think you guys are wrong so be accurate in the information you provide so we can trust you.
I think you mean the K850i with the 5MP camera...
900USD? where the hel* u get that price?
hell no the sony ericsson w850i is almost d same nokia n95 have 5mp cam that have a 2mp
a very very sexy outfit but very much concern about the hard drive it has the tendency to crash like the N91...has anything being done about it?
Hope the new battery will last much longer, if not, i am not wasting 900USD!!!
People are voting for phones they haven't used yet.......that's not right.
with all this amazing coments i've been reading about this magnificent phone ,yall just made me more and more curoius to lay my hands on my yet-to-be-mine masterpiece.
N95 8GB release date is start of November in Australia. Have heard really good things about the phone, althought they do have some software problems. Probably leaning more towards the Sony Eric K850i, as it also has a 5mp camera, and is probably a better phone overall
Software crashes every now and then esp when that important call is due. Contacts dont register when incoming call or text. Task manager not very good. Satnav nowhere close to expectations. Good Mp3 player but buttons very tempremetal.Overall good features but overhyped as Nokia software is prob the worst.
People keep saying how disappointing this phone is as it has only improved marginally from its predecessor, but for those who don't have the N95 and are looking for a decent new phone it sounds pretty good with its 8GB capacity. Has anyone found a price and/or release date for Australia?
I wonder how long will it take to have it available to work well in the US?
so is there a slot for a microSD memory card?
