No, I don't think this is for the US.
I mean, the US version already came out with 3G Triband already, and that's V1.5 (First release, just with HSDPA 850/1900, camera lens and card slot).
C'mon nokia, r u kidding us..?? You make this US spec version and didnt make it Dual band 850 & 1900 HSDPA..??
Why did u leave it ONLY 2100 HSDPA..?? What good does that do us..?? What a slap in the face..!!
One back fall of Nokia, dust/grime and misc get into the phone, especially whenever you're opening it and closing it often, or there is a way for dust to enter and settle down. Without the lens cover, then this problem will pull the quality of the camera down.
I've seen on the site that they're tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, but many people in their reviews and contacts are saying it's only 2100UMTS. Anyone able to confirm which bands it runs HSDPA on?
Anyone know if this phone can work as a modem by using it's 3G speed/data transfer for a laptop? and how?
Nokia always seems to cover their bases when it comes to 3G, WiFi, music player, FM tuner, digi cam, vid cam, games, reception, etc. Every practical feature, they rank in the top 3 at it. Other companies might have 1 or 2 critical features missing. Once it has Xenon flash, it's all over for SE atop cam phones. Nokia will get bigger at being #1 here in Los Angeles when L.A. Live opens up. The N95 set is the prototype for all future phones to come...
it wood hav bin soooo much better if they had the lense cover in ths too :(
thts the ONLY thing tht keeps me stopping from gettin ths fone.
i don mind charging it everyday...but i cant bear it wth a scratch on the lense.
hello, i was planing to buy this phone or the normal version, and i have read a review on mobile-review.com.
i have a couple of cuestions:
1)what is slow, taking the picture, or waiting the procesing???(because i dont care waiting if the picture is in the phone)
2) how is the cuality of the music whit the stereo speakers???( because the review say this "with volume turned full blast you will surely notice sound distortions"(whit the stereo speakers)is this real???
3)how is the sound cuality whit headphones?? i have read that is bad(i own a n91)but i dont expect so much of this phone, so it is bad???
4)how protected is the screen: can the dust get inside, It gets scratched easily???
Please, I need your answers to take my final desition

I am looking to change my mobile and was going for this model the Nokia N95.
However, I have read a report in a well regarded consumer testing magazine that says it is prone to failure in the rain and failed their waterproof test.
Also a well known chain of 'phone shops says it is flimsy and has software issues. It does look good on paper. So what is the real deal here, is it anygood or not?
My current Nokia 6230i Orange is prone to water splashes and I had to dry it out once after a mild splash with a hairdryer, so perhaps water resistance is a Nokia failing.
this is the best mobile i like ill buy i wish anybody see this buy it too.
fantastic phone i don't have it but i dream wiz it my friends have it i wanna have it toooooooooooooo
