Darksun; you state that the CPU is much better yet Nokia states it is the same dual CPU as seen in the original N95. Can you explain what exactly is better about the CPU in the 8GB N95?? Secondly, Nokia should have moved up to VGA res screens like I-mate, Toshiba and Eten have done. Tables and charts will be much clearer. 2.8 inches is too large for QVGA res.
this will be expensive from the time it will be release till the end of the year...it is a perfect gift for the coming holidays so the price will stay high...but for sure, price will get down by 20 - 30% within the 1st quarter of 2008... the original Nokia n95 was about PHP 50000 here in the philippines when it was launch...but it dropped to 30000...but this N95 8gb is really good and has a good competition with sony ericsson's upcoming W960 though it only had 3.2 mp camera...gud luck to both companies....:)
This phone is not available on the CrazyJohns sub plan - why would you bother getting it. Crazy Sub Plans are the best

The first device is the charger right?any 1 can reply?
Please let us pray that Nokia will not have any software issues with this version!!!!!I won't hold my breath!!!
Its Wrong for nokia to release a new N95 8gb so soon
cos now people r thinking that there will eb a new E90i & are waiting than buying the E90
Think Nokia what are you doing
This rocks. It IS the best phone.Differences between Orig. n95 and ths one are so that everybody knows:
- 8GB internal Flash.
- Larger display (2.8", up from 2.6"), same resolution.
- MicroSD slot removed.
- 128MB RAM, up from 64MB.
- 1200mAh battery, up from 950mAh.
- Slider protecting camera lens removed to make room for the larger battery.
- Cosmetic changes to media and front-panel buttons.
-CPU far better.
-Slider problem fixed.
It will come out in october,q4,this year at 560 EURO without taxes. That means aproximatly 650-700 Euro.Hope my comment helped someone:D.

Hello in the Review Link below it says GPS Maps has been updated
Does that mean that the Old N95 wont have GPS maps up to date as the NEW N95 ??
Here a video review:
"Cool but I bet it is going to be slow. Just got the N95 on April. My N95 SUX!!!"
sigh, another one-_- come one if ya really get a N95, you could feel the speed of the processor. name out why is it sux? dude can name me some? n95 laggy? is that you trying to say? if you say it's laggy, you will be a fool in here.
The most powerful mobile device on the planet...forget those iXxxxx!!
it will blow that out of water!!
As usual,Nokia launched a phone which hasn't been enough tested. Now they try to correct their mistakes with this one. So sorry for the early buyers of N95...
Nokia are very crafty! This upgrade to the N95 with bigger RAM, bigger screen and bigger battery notwithstanding the improvements to hardware and software gleaned from road testing the original N95 will result in a better device. Nokia are craftily not just aiming at new customers. They are enticing owners of the N95 to ditch it and buy the spanking new 8GB version. The crux will be the battery. I personally feel they should have placed a 1500mAh in it but perhaps 1200mAh may just be enough. The proof of the pudding is in the eating!!
good points on this set:
1.2.8 inch screen
5.little differece in camera, from old n95 as shown in pic.....
but still controversy on:
1.battery life,must some difference from old n95
2.price is still a great mystery
3.when it will be launched......
pls tell me its price, and when it will be launched....
No card slot? shame, shame, shame. When you finally see a must-have fone it comes with a awfull drawback. Increase de price, but, please, bring us everything !!! We are paying for it.
