Reasons not to upgrade to 8gb:
-Better battery life (still goin to have to charge it every night)
-8gb storage/no micro sd (16 gb micro sd will soon be avialble)
-In black (i agree, 8gb is more sexy :))
-More RAM (only real reason to upgrade IMO, but cant imagine a huggge increase in performance
-bigger screen (only useful for gps, browsing and watching 'movies', who watches movies on there phone?)
-'invisible' lens shutter- scrtches?
The only downside of the w960 is the 3.2 camara vs 5 mpx camara, and the missing gps. but SE is selling a stereo handsfree with gps.
so your choise are 3.2 camara with touchscreen
or 5 mpx camara without touchscreen
Are is 8gb in the mobile or .. need 8gb card slot to that.... But i thinks its very very Sloooww
Fab: really? i see lots of people using the N95 here in the Philippines, and im not talking about actors, socialites etc..
Here in the Philippines, the only persons whom I've seen a N95 in their hands are actors, socialites, politicians. I've never seen an ordinary person having this phone (N95). Maybe, after a year when the price drops dramatically I'll see more people owning N95. I hope I'll be one of them. But of course, in Europe, situation is different cuz most people are rich. :)
Nobody wants to answer CymbalRocks' question. How does one enter text into the browser when in landscape mode? If it means switching back to portrait mode it defeats the whole purpose of having a big screen and landscape. In other words the design is fundamentally flawed. If a user wants to make the most of such a big screen and text with it while using the browser the phone should either be candy bar ( with the screen in landscape orientation), or open like a laptop or my preferred solution of a slideout QWERTY.
ALL Bow to the might of Nokia n95!! even the much anticipated K850i cant beat it lol...
anyone knows if it has internet telephone (voip technology) as the normal N95 ???
What's the use of the 2.8 inch screen when it is not touch. It's battery sux. W960 is still better than it.
because i can buy the screen protection, not the lens, that's y i worry
lol look at the size, its a monster, it wont fit in anyone pocket unless ur a rapper with parachute pants lol
i agree to the nameless guy below, nokia can put everything in the phone, but the construction sucks. the price is also a "bit" too high even to european standards of life (understand this as "WTF? ALL THIS MONEY FOR A PHONE?").
is funy people are scare of the lens protection, and not of the SCREEN!!!
hi friend, can you discuss more about the lens protection? because that's the part where user worry the most...
i have this phone its aite. but i prefer the k850's UI over nokia's
