My dream came true to own this machine. One of the best models of Nokia ever created. I bought my set from a Nokia Warehouse for 20K, manfd date Dec 2008 & Made in China. Could not figure out in any retail shops, so contacted Nokia guys and got allotted myself one. It is really the "King". I have used N73 b4. I can bet N73 was close to this. Damn fast processor. Sound and Video, camera are amazing.
Disadv: 1. No Camera shutter. 2) Difficult to use "Mark" key since its very close towards the left direction key. 3) Head phones not good enough when compared to N73 M device.
Can anyone tell me...
Does my n95 8gb have an internal gps like my 6110 navigator or do i have to draw maps from the internet?
Is it a good idea to swop it for a samsung omnia 8gb???
i forgot my security code and now i wanna reset it ! any method of resetting the code ??

Aysha, 04 Sep 2009im so fukn confused abt N86 and this cell.. pls tell me which one to get as i am picture frea... moren86 is better than n95 8gb in all fronts except for two - speakers and graphics. the 2.8-inch screen is not really an n95 8gb advantage since n86 boasts an amoled display. the 3d graphics however on n95 8gb is poorly utilised. there are almost none of 3rd party softwares that make use of it.
This ranking is based on ''consumer satisfaction'' and ''phone model reputation.'' Only ''commercially-released'' phone models are included on the list.

confused between nokia n79 & n95-8GB. yhough N95-8gb looks pretty solid but plz clarify :-
1) any slider problem in N95-8GB ??
2) is keypad of N79 rigid ??
Previously i had decided to buy Nokia E71 - though great stuff, but camera's really a draw back.
plz give a concrete suggestion between E71, N79 & N95-8GB.
This is the 4th phone I ever used, and the one I used the longest. I purchased it when it first came out, so it has been with me for almost 2 years now.
I am very satisfied and happy with this phone, and don't feel any regret still using it today even with the newer models that come out in the market every week.
Probably one of the best things I can mention about this phone is the strong signal reception. Unlike the phones I used before, I can talk in the N85-8GB in underground location and places where other phone won't work.
The screen looks really big and nice, and it's fun to watch movies on it. Video and photo quality is also good.
Many applications are available for this phone, so you can enrich it with lots of software and features.
The slider is still working fine with me, even if it feels slightly loose when closed, but I guess this is a normal behavior that all users of this model experience.
Less than a year after purchasing it, I had a problem with the main speaker during phone calls where I couldn't hear the other party unless I slightly squeeze the slider, but the problem seems to have disappeared now and I never had it again for a whole year.
I am not happy about the GPS signal locking, which takes longer than it should. Also I am not happy about no lens cover for the camera. The protecting glass on the lens had very tiny and faint scratches, but this didn't seem to affect image quality.
Other than that I can't mention anything negative about this phone. The 8GB is more than enough and I never felt I needed more during the past 2 years.
I like N95 8gb and N79. which one would be the technically better anong those two phones.
