DONT BUY THIS CELLPHONE
IT is TOOOOOOOO slow. it hangs alot,because of the bad cpu and you should remove the battery
buyit, if you are in a country that can use DVB-H system

just for DVB-H
watching tv on this phone is really exciting

Sure the bettery life isnt that gr8 ,build quality nt that elegent. And the software is nt perfact. Bt its the best! Iv been using it 4 four months now and im a hard core symbian freek! so trust me its gud. Wen u purchase it be 4 u start loading any thng on it. Update the firmware via nokia software updater on ur pc. Note u wil need proper internet 'not using ur n96 as a modem'. After updating trust me u wont regret. The device cums with v10. The latest is
v12.043 ,2 chek wat software v u on ,on stand by typ *#0000# any problems jst ask me. Il be glad 2 help.

i am in plan of buying this phone but reading all these crap praising of N82 i dont even feel like checking for opinion of any phones. requesting to stop those & kindly help me in deciding abt the N96 or N95 8Gb....please.

Hi ones again 2 all the gsm readers can i please say 1 thing and the last thing with v12.0.43 is the n96 much better, i agree it was slow and made you mad but now realy people the n 96 is truly a good handset and i had 2 n95 classic and 5 n95 8gb why because i love 2 swap and bey the best that why i can tell you stick with your n96 its a good cell phone dont read any more what you see on gsm about the n96 its senseless kind regards jp

S2pd cmplains about N96.. You. shud have used the phone before judging it.your just poor thts why you couldnt buy one.. I ddnt experienced any problem using ths phne.the life of the batt is on par with n82,nd n95 eventhough it hs a larger nd brighter screen and packed with more features than any other n series phones.

it's kind a bit shocked when people here damn it the n96.. i've plan to buy this device on my 1st thought.. i can't believe the fact of battery life of the device is that sucks?..compared to sony x1, the price is similar and run off by plus minus 100..but certain specs of n96 is much better like 16M display than X1 35K and the internal is 16Gb than X1 256Mb.. but if this phone really sucks and hang 500 times a day, then i shouldn't buy this phone nor X1..Maybe N97 much way better.. can't wait to have it in store..
