Nokia made the biggest mistake trying to charge all money of its customers!!! How? There is no big difference between N95, N95 8GB and N96....
Annually Nokia sells a new model of N9X and they make a littel change. ut each time we must spend about 650 USDs to buy the new device! Are we stupids?
No! Because Samsung made OMNIA and INNOV phones to break Nokia!! And Samsung won the battle! 10 million touchscreen phones sold in 2008 by Samsung. Yeah thats the big profit for Samsung! How they managed?
They learnt the maind demands of customers and gave those devices to them in better conditions!
Nokia-looooser, Samsung-winner!!!

Less than average battery life. You can't really enjoy its over hyped features.

The navi-weel hardwear was removed. People say... But it dosnt make sence 2 me coz it would cost more 2 remove it if they had alredy produced the final productions 4 the market.. So it could be that nokia removed it b4 final producion. That would mean ONLY the prototypes hav the navi wheel hardware... Bt i thnk it was coz nokia site spec sheet 4 N96 has NO navi wheel.

this mobile is really great.ok the plastic case could be a little better for that price, but the mobile itself is great

The sound quality of the N96 is on par with the N91 if not beta! Its got a DSP(dedicated sound processor) for great sound reproduction and a Video hardware accelerator 4 cristal clear video recording and play back. 2 realy see the difference in ur N96 update firmware via Nokia Software Updater (NSU). Iv got 9GB OF DATA ON MINE AND ITS STIL SMOOTH!

Yet it has improved since my firmware update! It neva lags and is very quick even when multitasking! The new firmware realy dose wonders 4 this device hope the next 1 tackles the power consumtion as priority! Thes is a great device im hapy with it!

Go to getjar.com it has official divx player. Works perfect. I have complete heroes s02 on my n95 8gb.

oh yea and also i just want to know if the battery life is really bad on this phone aswell because i think this is one of the main reasons why i wouldnt get this phone
im the kind of person to be on the phone quite a lot lol.

iv waited so long for this phone to come out and all i see is bad comments it jus confuses you on whether to get it or not i had bad comments on n95 but it was pretty good jus want to know is there much difference between n95 to n96 and which battery is better n95 or n96

Hi all,
I was 17 when i had my first phone, summer 2008, it was the old Nokia 6110, proberbly the best phone i've owned.
In the last 10 years, i have once owned a samsung d600 a couple of years ago, but for the other nine years its been Nokia.
From the 6110, 5140, 3210, 3310, 8210 (loved it), 8310, banana (cant remember the model number), matrix to the n70 and even n95.
I now have the N96 and have been using it for about 2 months. I can honestly say it is the most hyped, exagerated and expensive phone on the market today.
The back plastic case is very week and sqeaks when pressing buttons. The front slide is unstable. It seldom allows me to view all my pictures. It often slows down and sometimes even freezes and to top it all off theres not even any free games provided.
I'm not a fussy person and i'm not one to complain but if i were to advise someone who is in the market for a mobile phone i would tell them not to bother with the N96 because, in my opinion, it is the worst phone out there at the moment

This phone is over priced, this must not reach 400 Euros. It has neglectable added features to N95 8gig. Not worth the price due to the most important phone features...1.speed (cpu degrade from N95, and laggy new UI) and 2.battery life (pathetic, what's the use of such feature set)
