Very bad battery i've charged 3x a day in heavy used

N96 SQ is comparable with n81/n85..i mean bass will start n deep sharp at 70% volume without distortion n crack noise..different with walkman megabas which bass start at low volume..but megabass will have great distortion,crackling,noisy which makes sq fall down at max volume n nokia bass still sharp n deeper,,different case,samsung i8510 doesn't have great n deeper bass coz low output power amp but i8510 offer crystal clear sq even u can hear every instruments in your song clearly with wide impedance specs headphon like senn cx300,its not boombass but crystal clear experience sq,,but volume too low compared with n96 n walkman

ionutdrg, 28 Nov 2008Please can anyone suggest me whisc one to buy....is it N95-8GB or N96???I don't know about the N95 but I have the 96 and the only thing I hate about it is that you have to charge it every two days , and that is if you don't use the functions , I would suggest to go for a phone that has a lot of talk time ( Samsung Omnia)i think is grate

I ordered mine and cant wait to get my hands on it! Awesome looking phone and features! Just damn too expensive pre-paid so im taking out on contract!

Nokia's phone which use BL-5F usually not too reliable and mainly face battery usage shortage problem.

My opinion is N96 is not good phone, because its bettery talk time is only 3.5 hours. If the talk time is less at least 8 hours of any phone I think that phone is not good.

I Have had the N96 for 2 weeks now.
I love the look of the phone & everything it does.
Am quite happy for it execpt for the following:
The battery doesnt last long at all.
Am charging it every night.
Secondly & most importantly, the PHONE FREEZES.
It happens every second day. It even happens when someone is calling me & therefore I cannot answer the phone.
The only way to fix it is to turn it off & then switch it back on again. Very annoying!
Also, its quite slow to scroll through the menu.
If anyone knows how to fix any of the above, please let me know!!

Use the TYTN for a month as well, maybe you will change mind again. You see, all people and peoples needs are different.Major concern by TYTNII is I can not make quick calls with 1 hand free. Phone book is to difficult to search in it and the call quality is my opinion not the same as N96.

Nokia N96 - Apple iPho... moreI had a n96-for a month.I really gave it a chance. I so badly wanted it to live up to it's hype. But it didn't. I exchange it for a Tytn11 . Best phone I ever had-except maybe my faithful n73 , which I still use.
What to get? What do you want from a phone? The htc tytn11 is versatile, excellent web access ,messaging,e-mails. and because it uses a windows operating system is easy to use [ we can all use a computer,can't we?]. Go in a shop and play with one for half an hour. you won't regret it.

This phone performance s great i have one (made in Finland) and its very good Quality and speed and also have a great camera....THE battery last for one day of (watching TV,browsing internet WiFi,Calling 1hour through 3.75G band, playing games, listen to music and all that with bluetooth open all the time for bluetooth headphone)
