I bought my two week ago nd I am dissappointed with it.
streaming video quality is poor.
battery life is bad.
keyboard is awful to use.
live tv and many applications are useless in USA.
give the try but if you like to invest your money wisely better look around.

I bought one two weeks ago. and I am dissappinted with it. because of the the price and ads I was expecting something reaaly cool i any way. design technology, and funtionality.
I had an iphone too, I am not really like it so I want something different, and I am here.
the quality of internet video is reaaly bad.
speaker sound bad, when streaming videos.
Keyboard degign is poor.
Battery life is bad.
For the money you pay you should get a super machine in my opinions, and in USA many features are useless.

I just got my cutie N96 3 NAM US Version yesterday.
So I can not say anything yet ^..^ But it was kinda disappoint about the cheap keyboard at 1st but beside that, it was AMAZING....
The speaker is super loud, my cousin was sitting upstair can hear the song that I play down stair too... And then the CAM..... O..M...G...
You guys need to buy this phone, I am really serious, IF NOT then SO BAD, you missed out the most AMAZING PHONE ever ^..^

Hi All
does anyone know how the touch sensetive navigation wheel work?
And when you change you menu view ,do you have to restart the phone inorder for the change to take place

Shanky, 21 Nov 2008I think the best camera is of Cyber-Shot phones... they are really best... No to SE cyber-shot phones, more artificial colors. Yes to Nokia camera phones, more natural colors. SE go to hell.

nick, 22 Nov 2008actually winmo is more open source. i havent used windows mobile before but i dont think you c... moreSymbian is better on many fronts. It can do all the things windows can do plus it has less processing and strain on battery life. Windows isnt open source plus it doesnt have as many applications as symbian.

it is manufactured in china under authority by Nokia, who is based in Finland. this means that the chinese put the pieces together whilst nokia told them how to do it. so it is made in china, all the hardwork was done by the finnish.

tirouven, 21 Nov 2008heyy ppl! is the n96 worth buying it?? which nokia do u advise me to buy n96 or n85?? I personally decided to go for N96, however N85 is also nice.Why ? just like N96 more, the bigger screen was one of the reasons as I use my mobile for navigation often. And, honestly, never regret it , N96 is a great mobile if you don´t mind charging the battery each night.

1. Its got more third party applications than windows mobile....Games/Arcade Emmulators/Entertainment & Graphics/Miscellaneous utilities/Document Editors and Readers/Religious Books/Security & Encryption/Learning & Dictionaries/Maps, Navigation, GPS/Calculators & Math tools/PC Programs.......
Symbian has just gone open source.....wich means more applications!!!!!!!
