ds phone is better than innov8, dvb-h is a plus factor and the nokia added services, dont ask me about the services because it will cover the whole page haha
a new firmware is coming up to address issues which will make it more powerful..braise yourself haters!

Okay, it has DVB-H and MIDP2.1 and new Symbian feature pack but ultimately, are they currently being used; no. Shall they be used in the future; yes, but not as yet!

hi there guys i love all your opinions about the n96 i had a n95 and then n95 8gb i loved it very much its a very good cellphone in its own class and cpu speed great,but the same with the n96 it just needs a software upgrade then again it is a very good phone in its own class again with fp2 and the 16gb mem cpu not as good as the n95 8gb but both phones r good guys like n95 8gb also in begining had software problems dont forget thats all for now kind regard jp

Just 2 days after getting my hands on an n96, I have found some issues but not a great deal.
The battery is not great. Day/day and a half.
The Camera is quality. The screen is crystal clear and truely great to watch. There is a difference in screen quality overall.
I was disappointed that it wasnt a big step up from the n95 8gb but to be fair,The 8gb n95 was a great handset and a tough one to follow. Nokia have kept with a winning formula and slightly tweeked it. Overall im very happy so far. I have the finnish version and have had no issues bar the battery life.
Ill let everyone else decide themselves on whether or not its a good buy. I dont find it a cheap build or poor quality. If you use it for a while you will see the quality.

I am using N96 right now in posting this message. It's currently very buggy. It restarts in the middle of a call. It hangs when I'm using the web that's why I'm using Opera Mini instead. It slows down when I fill it with 7Gb of data. Battery life is so short. Less than 2 hours on web browsing and it's dead. The music keys around the dpad is always lit on even if I'm not using the music player. Camera button is so hard to press. There are some good points however. The display is brilliant. Music quality via headset and speakers is really good. Video playback is smooth and crystal clear. Mobile TV is amazing. I can watch cable channels on my phone. The biggest letdown is battery. I have to charge it 3 times a day if I'm heavy on its features like web browsing and mobile TV. A major firmware update is also badly needed as this phone is full of software problems like restarting, hanging problems and it gets slow once you fill the mass memory by half of its total capacity.

Nokia knew about the faults with the N96 but people do not read websites before purchasing mobiles which is totally wrong,always check www.mobile-review.com he tells you about the goods an bads about mobiles,he gave a review about the N96 an thats why i kept away from getting it,he also does not like the new C905 he thinks the quality is rubbish,so always read reviews before you get a mobile an don"t waste so much money
