Plus the photos are much bigger than the resolution settings of a laptop. More megapixels isnt a necessity.
Yes, nokia plans to unveil an 8mp cameraphone soon which has some nice suprises under the hood, but i stil dont believe its worth an upgrade if u have n95/n95 8gb, n82, n79, etc.
About the camera and music, i dont think there is any phone at the moment that can handle both of these perfectly. N96 and innov8 are way too pricey and have battery life issues. N85 has a decent camera and decent sound, but is not the best out there. Same thing with the 5800xm. Good camera, but not the best. Good sound but not the loudest either.
If you must have a good camera and music, get n85 or 5800xm. Just dont expect too much from them.
However, i suggest getting a cameraphone with a good battery life like n95 8gb, n82, n79 etc and get the nokia bh 604 bluetooth headset. They sound the same on any phone and deliver sound better than any mobile phone can currently offer.

virusce, 27 Oct 2008hire is an opinion I don't use digital zoom it ruins the picture I don't watch TV not on a ... morehad it tried it hated it! huge and plastic! kept freezing up and camera so hard to get to use plus lots of shutter lag. battery doesn`t last long, you cant get tv on it unless you live in france, speaker quality poor and very tinny! accelrometre takes 5 seconds to turn images .. was a real let down .. took it back saturday and had the sony ericsson c905.. does what its says on the tin and brill camera and build quality.... absolutely brilliant!

oled consume less power than tft so the plus for the battery goes fon n85

by the way I used n96 for a week it's quality don't match the price period

anyways i recomend n85 basing on the most reasonable factor in buying mobile phone for regular consumers, the best value all in one device that has a good camera and music feature

Just this battery is better than N96,but soon there will be other battery (1200,1100 mAH) available for the N96.
ALSO the both phones has the SAME

Its a sound technology developed by Samsung that gives better amplification and creates sound effects, and reproduces purer, clearer and noiseless sound with all audio elements clearly audible. Fortunately, that DNse 2.0 is now on a mobile phone which is Samsung INNOV8.

N85 has no dedicated audio chip. It plays music but it's not a music phone. And pls stop saying that 8MP is not necessary because 8MP will be the standard for camera phones in 2009. Even Nokia is currently developing their own version of INNOV8.

i would say that the best Camera and Music phone is Nokia N85
Camera is Carl Ziess 5MP good enough to snap good quality images
Music feature is one of the best among N Series and has dedicated buttons
And its Nokia..
Innov8 is a good phone but its overprice and contains unecessary features like the 8MP that average people doesnt need. Its a marketing ploy.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2008n96 is made for tv and video. it has a deskstand, 2.8 inch display, dedicated video processor ... moreTrue, but if i wanted a phone for video i would get the 5800xm. It has a massive 3.2 inch screen, desktop cradle in the retail package, loud speakers (nokia's best offering so far) and a dedicated 3d image engine. Plus it cost is much much cheaper than n96.
