After more as 1 week intense use and after working with many many mobiles I need to state that this mobile can be rated as very good. Reading this forum will just show you a fight between the pro and con Nokia brand people.
We need to say sorry to the people who want to find objective information, but on this forum you will find it rarely as GSM Arena is polluted.
Anyhow, my phone is not slow, it is not hanging, it doesn´t crash etc.....
The battery life could be better, but as told earlier, also every windowd PDA suffers this. Just look to the HTC forum how much complains you will see there.
Using the phone as phone allows you to work between 2 to 3 days before charging, using intense internet will lead to no power in 2 hours, same to GPS
The perfect phone will have the camera hardware of N95; the Xenon flash of N82; the optical zoom of N93; the dedicated audio chip of N91; the screen technology of N85; the internal memory of N96!!!
having it last two weeks. so far so good. faster than N95. GPS was doing their good job. the best N series. good screen size & resolution. Battery life normal, for this S60 phone.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970you're such a cool guy but your choice of cell is not cool. n96? errhh..
Hi, I am NOKIA lover..recently I have Nokia E90, N95 8GB, and N96 16 GB. All are the best and user friendly..but bit dissapointed with N96 16 GB, compares with N95 8GB battery life is poor, and slow transition when u open a few application, camera is pooor..I think N95 8GB is better than N96 16GB
Anonymous, 11 Oct 2008are u gus saying the truth about this phone cause i want to buy it I would'nt trust half the people on this forum, they probably dont have it.
I do and this is an AWESOME phone.
what about battery life?good?15 or 20hours?did nokia sell small powerstations with their fons?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970unbeatable in quantity of broken returns...just,noki guys just can't get over the fact that innov is real king while their ''king''has not 8mp fon out,5mp fon means middle end in nowadays,it cannot be highend, cheers!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970nokia n96 is THE most worst phone of all....it lags a lot..i MEAN A LOT...n i sold it with in a week of purchase
This thing drags sooooo slowly it's unreal. There is also a fault on them already in that they won't ring. Seems a lot of the buzzers are faulty on them. It also feels very cheap when you put it alongside the N95.
oh yeah bro!
better than my virtu!
life is like heaven with this phone, ain't it?
good phone I guess, pretty neat idea of adding the t.v part u knw!
cool very nice!
I'm enjoying the n96!
From mobileburn.com :
While we are just now receiving our N96 review units, at this moment it is hard to imagine how the Nokia N96 is going to top what Samsung has done with the i8510 INNOV8. Samsung has put together a very solidly built, feature rich, and darn fun to use smartphone. The i8510 is the best performing and most feature rich camera phone we have ever used, there is enough internal storage on hand for thousands and thousands of music tracks, and Samsung's optical mouse adds a lot of wow factor to the already fantastic S60 web browser.
We reslly don't have anything even remotely negative to say about the i8510 INNOV8. "Highly Recommended", plain and simple. If you are considering an N95 or N96, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't check out this gem first.
