I upgraded from my old N95 to Samsung i8510. Definitely chose the right handset. Usual teething problems on N96 as with all N series handsets. I didn't like the feel of the N96, very cheap and the main feature of the phone is useless in the UK, I'd rather have the 8MP camera and optical joystick of the i8510. Much more of an upgrade than the N96

This is not a phone for N95 owners. N95 is still best. Quality of hard ware of this phone is absolutely terrible. Nokia’s No.1position is in danger Samsung is very close to take over. Samsung is technological power house. Nokia is trying hard bur recent models of Nokia are just run of mills except E71. Wake-up Nokia!!

why not go for N85 8GB .. it has a functional Navi wheel.... and its comaparable to the N96 8GB too and the N96.. apart from a lil differences though..

Dear friends,
Let us be serious, this is a forum to help people selecting and discovering phones. Today after weeks of waiting I could play some hours with this mobile. This device is really not as bad as some people state here. For me it is clear after my test, N96 is better as N95 and N95 8GB. for sure it is better.
I really can not understand that adult people making this forum dirty with not founded pep talk.
N96 is a good phone, sure equal to the inov8 of Samsung. Samsung has a few advantaces, but Nokia stay Nokia. What about trade in value of Samsung compared to Nokia ? Do not get me wrong I am the biggest Nokia hater on earth, but be serious and stop writing lies. Nokia N96 is a great phone.

Oh dear, first impressions are not good having just held one in phone shop...cheap feeling phone, horrid keypad.
Dont get me wrong, i just love my 95-8gb, but i'd think long and hard about replacing it with one of these..

why on gods earth have they put the n95 battery in this thing gezzzzzzz they should of put the 8gb battery in it so it lasts now the phone is cool i realy like a lot with doctor who on and top gear

dear sir this is a big cheet by nokia .phone is worst speed is too mutch slow.hanging is big probleme.sound is not upto mark.n95 8gb is better phone then this worst phone.music system is also worst.dpnt by this phone
