waited six months for this. what a waste of time. A lot of the features don't work. Or only work partialy. It looks nice though. But so would a bunch of flowers.
This is just an expensive paperweight.
The moral of this is : Go to a shop and try it first - REALLY TRY IT - NOT JUST HOLD IT AND BE SUCKERED IN BY THE HYPE AND SALESMEN. They are only there to make money, your hard earned cash.
I am putting my sim back in my N73.

mamrito, 01 Oct 2008Guys i ve heard about the nokia N98. Can somebody help me because there some guys that sy tha ... moreNo. this is fake N98. Actual one is yet to announce and if it is, it will be better than that. Look at the video call cam. so big and ugly. N96 already has small and neat VGA second cam.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Nokia N95 has 8 Gb..and Nokia N96 has 16 Gb memory
there are HUGE differences between CECT phones (chinese cloned nokia phones) & GENUINE nokia phones MADE IN CHINA!!! the CECT phones (chinese cloned nokia phones) only copy the design of the GENUINE nokia phones made in china BUT NOT the features, that's why CECT phones (chinese cloned nokia phones) sell at a VERY MUCH LOWER price! ON THE OTHERHAND, there is NO DIFFERENCE in the quality of GENUINE nokia phones MADE IN CHINA or MADE IN FINLAND. the hardware, chips, software and all circuitries are JUST THE SAME! the only difference is from where they were assembled into finished products! if you live in asia, you notice that MADE IN FINLAND nokia phones are a LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE than MADE IN CHINA nokia phones. it is because MADE IN FINLAND nokia phones have the SHIPMENT COST added to its price!
Anonymous, 02 Oct 2008AnonymousReport TO NOKIA: Im from Philippines and here in our country theres a lot of China ... morethe thing is ONLY CHINA has the capacity to make LARGE volume of production of nokia phones to accomodate equally LARGE consumer demands. no other countries in the world can do that that's why the largest nokia headquarter is based in china. if china will stop producing nokia phones, then supply of nokia phones will decrease dramatically, and nokia will lose profits and will eventually lose its market share as the number one mobile phone manufacturer!
Im from Philippines and here in our country theres a lot of China made Nokia imitation phones, so we think that even the original Nokia made in China is also a FAKE product, and I Love Nokia phones but many people here are afraid of buying Nokia phones now becoz of this, and sad to say most of original Nokia phones here are made in China…..so can we ask the Nokia company to stop making your phones in China!!! Your good reputation as a company is tainted by these Chinese imitation makers…… ....
i reply u from nokia..all the factory in china now..even se.motorola.samsung also made in china kay??
received this phone at 10am on tuesday from vodafone 10am weds was on its way back camera quality no where near as good as my wifes n95 8gb even though it ment to be same it isnt!! And the sound quality is no where near as good if u want the best nokia phone go for n95 8gb even though n96 is newer it is no where near as good.. Samsung innov8 here i come
the camera sucks the digital zoom is only 10x while in the n95 it is 20x
I bought this phone today. First impressions, rather good, although it has frozen on me once already when I was browsing the internet.
This is my first try at Nokia for many years and I have always shyed away from the Symbian OS, but I have been promised that this one has been tweaked (not so slow) and the battery life is now longer. We will see.
The reviews of the phone rave about it but, to be honest, it's not really fancy looking and by the end of the year it won't really do anything that some other phones won't be able to do.
The thing I am looking forward to most is using the BBC iPlayer and using it as an MP3 player/Stereo. What a capacity this phone has.
Overall, it's been good so far. If I was in the market for a new phone come December or January 2009, something tells me I would have had something else though.
Guys i ve heard about the nokia N98. Can somebody help me because there some guys that sy tha the phone does no exist. This is the link. have a look.
gone are the days when the difference between a high-end phone and midrange handset used to be like heaven and earth just like n93 and n73. but today, the gap between high end and midrange phones is so little that a less costly midrange phone like n85 sometimes is even better than the much more expensive high end phone like n96.
