nokia's n96 is really what it is looking in the gsm arena... rest depends on the market's surveylance... i think it will crassh most of the sets of the rest of the companies... so all the very best for the nokia's n96...
is internet needed for tv to play on n96? and which channels one could watch?
Nokia N96 gets a first firmware update
I have just ordered this handset i'm tsking s bit of a chance. I have not used anything other than than a nokia 8 series since the 8850 was launched such a long time ago.
Its a good thing Vodafone UK still offer a 14 day return on upgrades. Considering I'm falling in love with the 8800 carbon this phone better be upto the hype all you guys have heaped upon it!! I will let you know what I think of it on Friday
Does anybody know .... does N96 have Installed Maps application like N95 and N95 8GB?
the N85 is much more exciting than this. and the starting price is really tempting!
how much can the battery of this phone perform before being charged ?
please i need an answer
I think it would be good if Nokia is not making the same mistake done for N81 in its sliding mechanism. Its really loose and feel like it may break at any time.
It'l go down about 2 mos. It's 35k in greenhills today. I'll buy it when it's around 25k.
vicdiaz, 29 Sep 2008so ill jz wait na lang pala till january next year. maybe the price will go down to say Php25000.wait a little bit!
keep track of its price on eBay.ph
Anonymous, 28 Sep 2008 there is no cellphone retailer in the philippines that's stocking this phone because it's so ... moreso ill jz wait na lang pala till january next year. maybe the price will go down to say Php25000.
its kinda slow. but overall its ok.
here in dubai, n96 is still not available, while samsung innov8 is already trading at around 2,850 dirhams or 35,000 pesos. looks like samsung is serious to mass market their best mobile phone!
Nokia N96 is sold at around $745 here in the Philippines at the moment and will go down to its intended price of $599 in the next few months.
no other phone can beat that in being the best value all-in-one device!
i think ram is too less. then need to check processor specs speed is slower.
Ah... but N96 has a 2.8 inch screen which is better for browsing, texting and watching videos. The bigger the screen, the better!
If I was a Nokia employee, I would commence making studies on just how big a screen they can get away with using this slide form factor: probably 3.2 inch widescreen.
Some people argued before about innov8 being 200 usd costlier. Just want to let you guys know that at plemix N96 is selling for $780 where as Innov8 is $760. $20 less. Anyways cheers!
Its not 256 mb build in memory. its 128 and half of it taken by the system. in total there is like 70 mb free.
very dissapointing comments from u guys. so i'll gonna stick w/ my P1.
i forgot to mention that n85 has faster processor than n96.
