In this N96 Navi wheel's option in the menu only has the light on and off, it's not a Navi wheel, it's just a light, wtf they called it navi wheel, they cancelled this option without telling anyone cos they wanted it as a feature in their farther release model n85.
After I knew that there's no naviwheel in n96, I decided not to buy it, and probably my n95 is the last nokia phone, cos they are sneaky.
btw, nokia pls keep doing these little tricks so I'll never pay big money for ur stupid design.

Unbelievably disappointed with this phone. Had a play with one in local Vodafone store today. My partner was thinking of getting it on upgrade but soon changed her mind. It feels so cheap, hard to believe it's a flagship handset. Glad I bought the Samsung i8510 three weeks ago, definitely made the right choice.
I just bought this handset 3days ago. I bought this in ebay.ph. It cost 35,300php.
The N96 is a very disappointing phone. Was not a it seemed to be especially from what people have said. Phone felt flimsy and cheap, looked cheap also and very fidly to use. Not a phone I would reccoment to anyone. My friend and I have just changed our phones and got E series phones which will always be better that the N series stuff. The phone was very slow and and it did not do the functions well enough.
The N96 is a disappointing "upgrade" to the N95 8gb. Nokia really need to clean up their act and make sure that the N97 will be a monster like the N95 and N73 in their days.
i purchase one handset n96 in 21-09-2008 witch imei no=354863020353911,company give handset usees 316 hour,s.I buy this handsetonly 25 secound. company not responce in this matter . this handset every 5sec hang problem & life timer is very loss.low battery backup.very low command service.in campere samsung lounch handset is very good handset, his high battery backup, high command service.
Has bought someone bought this phone? then please tell me can we play video on T.V. via phone (connecting thru T.V out)..... PEACE!
itz a total remake of the nokia n81 n-series.....
The bottom line is
Anonymous, 28 Sep 2008 there is no cellphone retailer in the philippines that's stocking this phone because it's so ... morecheck Ebay.ph, its sold at around Php35,600. I have a strong feeling that the price will dig down to Php28,000 soon.
This phone is awesome i just had a trial from vodafone and its much the same as the n95 8gb but the style and performance is great also no stalling or freezing of programs like on the n95 8gb when loaded with music its a nice phone
vicdiaz, 28 Sep 2008why is it that this phone is not yet available in Nokia smnorth? i was looking for it last sep... more there is no cellphone retailer in the philippines that's stocking this phone because it's so pricey. you have to order it first and they will get a unit for you.
Nokia, you fu.....rz !!! the micro usb is not standard!!! for all the money i paid for it you could have at least put a standard micro usb to fit any micro usb cable. idiots!
( i mean, of course, I looked at it before i bought it, but anyway...)
otherwise this phone is a miracle. the gps and navigation actually work! The maps for eastern europe are far from complete however.
