iolo003, 15 Sep 2008i love to do that but unfortunately that will be to much work for me c", I have hospital to ru... moreGreat to know. hehe So please make some time for everyone in this section who doesn't think N96 is a worth upgrade from N95. I'm not the only one who is arguing and I don't think the majority of the people are with you either. Keep it up.
whyyy please tell me why they would go with a battery that is alot smaller then even the origional n95-1 900!com'on the -3/8gig had atleast 1200.. i can just imagin how great it will turn out half way threw the day 16 gig wow dont think anyone even uses that much but if that were so i would love to see how slow the phone will work
what does this phone got over the nokia n95 8gb really? other than the design. what? what? what? nokia have not made any major improvements since the release of the nokia n95. now all u get in n96 is 16gb, dvb & a few things of low interest. no wonder many nokia fans are buying the samsung i8510. come on nokia.
Kal, 14 Sep 2008I believe it's high time you post your resume to Nokia. They don't even hold that much hope on... moreon the second thought it was actually my dream to put up a Nokia Flagship Store in my place. it would be a good investment c",

i love this posts, thats why i keep time to come here everytime im free
i like to argue to fanboys from other brands because they just cant hold up to the arguments that N96 do matter because it has its own appeal, its own class and no matter how they boast the features of their phone against N96, they cant get the attention that N96 has and the excitement of people to own one.
this phone attracts people like me, the regular mobile device users and the majority. If apple attracts regular americans, N96 attracts regular people around the world.
I honestly fail to see how the n96 is a worthy upgrade to the n95... considering the price of this phone, and the price that most paid for the n95...
couldn't nokia do something better?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I believe it's high time you post your resume to Nokia. They don't even hold that much hope on N96 as you do. LOL. People might find a good deal for N85, but N96 ah ha. Anyways keep practicing.. you are very close to get a marketing job at Nokia. Cheers!

Dimitrii, 14 Sep 2008This is a perfect phone! Weeell... The battery can do some better. But I love this big screen!... moresorry, but there is nothing great about a QVGA screen that has a 2.8" diagonal
you can see the individual pixels really nicely
Is anyone aware that you can now register your interest for the N96 on the T-Mobile website!

I bought a Nokia N95-2 8 GB.
Unfortunately, the phone seems to be faulty out of the box.
First I noticed that the sliding screen cover was a little loose and I suggested to myself it wasn’t a major problem and that an adjustment could be done to fix it at nokia service deparment, but the worst was about to come.
After charging the device fully I turn it on. A massage “start-up failed, contact your retailer” appeared. After 3-4 attempts the phone loaded and was working. It was a little slow and with some strange menu jumps at first but, after a couple of hours the phone restarted by it self and seemed to be working much better. I tried to restore the phone, using the N-Series PC suit program which I had from my other N95-2 but, unfortunately again, this attempt failed through the progress at 81%.
My last attempt was to update the firmware as that the new v.30.0.018 was available from Nokia software’s updater program for this phone. This action was installed successfully and made the phone working much better, but again you could notice that it wasn’t perfect and it has turned off several times by its self.
I’ve had NOKIA phones all my life including the N95 and N95 8GB so I think a can be in a position to understand that something is wrong or not.
8 hours from my purchase of this phone, made me hate it and forced me to give up and repack it.Not even the screen sticker was ever removed.
With all the respect, all the above mentioned are very honest. I think I deserve a fully replacement and not a fixing service. I have decided to will wait for the new N96 or N85 to arrive. I hope NOKIA SHOP accept my decistion.
I have had constant issues over the N96....and now its all come to a end, as last night when i was sleeping i was charging my N96 and woke up to battery acid/smoke coming from the phone, it eventually went on fire...ive been into contact with Nokia and they said for me to take it to the nearest retail outlet and get it sent away for testing. Nokia another phone...... another explosion, your hopeless
