... moreLmaol....yes ur rite its an opinion.....NOT A FACT......THE FACT IS Nokia will neva be behind jst becouse they dnt feel the presure 2 release a 8megapixel camera phone.....dosnt mean they behind...coz evry persons opinion is based apon a gimick.....used by cellphone componies years b4 the 5Mega pixel cameraphone came along......
Now nokia has reilised its not worth it...and hav desided 2 up there Game.....By implimanting Dedicated Sound chips and 3D processors.......
The N95 8Gb is in my opinoin the best Phone eva made its got A dedicated sound and 3D chip......and has evry thing 1 needs even satisfying techno geeks......

Overall battery life is GOOD, yes, confirmed its good, it last me 2 days.
But there are some design issues which irks me.
Despite the 5mp and Carl Zeiss camera, I still feel N82 is a better camera =)

Did Samsung Innov8 made a buzz when it was introduce? Nope because its not Nokia N96 or Apple 3G. Only a few people cares about innov8 thats why the fan boys comes here.
the 8MP did not capture the attention of the consumers or the press because no matter how many specs they throw on to their phone, its not Nokia, its just some other phone brand in the market c",

Can samsung gave me firmware updates?
Can samsung develop free 3rd party softwares?
Can samsung gave me the best navigational mobile map?
And my list goes on and on..
Can samsung gave me what Nokia can give?
A BIG No c", So why settle for less? Samsung, ah that brand?

If you had bought the Nokia N95 8Gb to replace your old N95, and when the N96 got announced you pondered whether or not you would want to buy it too - now is the time to take a really close look at the Samsung i8510. If you are a tech leader, and can't stand compromises when it comes to functionality, then the INNOV8 is the only way to go.
N96 is a sensible choice only if you really fancy Nokia-branded phones - on all other fronts it falls flat when compared to the Samsung INNOV8.
The only thing that is better in the N95 8Gb/N96 and the Samsung INNOV8 doesn't have is that "Nokia" logo on the front.

The IPhone is sux, but it has some interesting facilities such as "proximity sensor for auto turn-off", "ambient light sensor", that could be improved in the N96.
Well, I think the Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG, has surpassed Nokia in all way.
It is not my own opinion, but from everyone.
Then, we advice Nokia: OPEN YOUR EYES AND MINDE TO NOT BE TRAMPLED".

Here they clearly state that the bettery of the N96 lasts longer than the N95-1 and the N95-2 8Gb......
I sugest u make sure its the original product....if it is then
totaly rundown the bettery then fully charge it.....do it twice....then ur bettery will substantialy improve....

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2008save your money for samsung innov8 wich is about to come this months. And buy it in january wh... morewe dont like innovate c", because it Samsung.. you'll feel sorry if you buy one because it wont last long hahaha.. Durability Issue haunted company

save your money for samsung innov8 wich is about to come this months. And buy it in january when will be cheaper than n96 for sure. And it's better with 8mp camera and symbian,so you won't miss any nokia anymore. I sold my old 6680 with 50 euro. A mobile wich was 2 years ago 600 euro. N95 is 300 euro brand new,so wait and save many money.

Just bought it..everythings excelent..but only 1 problem here I must charge the battery once to twice a day..
Im telling you guys..just dont be shock with its very poor battery life..especially if you activate the 3G network..Worse than standard N95.
