i think this phone's many disadvantages why gsm arena dnt shows thier advantages & disadvantages.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2008only samsung g810 has a 5mp camera with optical zoom and nothing else.As if i didn knw that....hummmmn.... Dude the last symbian phone id eva buy is a samsung.....id rather sacrifese the optical zoom..... Im nova Gona own another phone ather than the Nokia......

I realy want a phone that will last me 3years....coz im dont see a point with keeping up with Technology.....just giv me a 5mpx with 4x optical zoom.....
on top of the N96 specs than im happy!!!.....
pluss with the Firmware upd8s nokia provides its Super convinient!!!!

brynn, 19 Aug 2008dont forget in uk contracts are 18 month now so thats an extra 50% right away for networks plu... morethats right so to get the phone free on the £75 tarriff at the end of the contract will have cost £1,350 no way is this phone worth that amount!!

I will probably wait a few months after the release, there is a strong rumor in here in Finland that Nokia is going to release a "jet black, not an ordinary black shiny colour" N96 end of the year, like they did with the N82 and the N95(in a way), and both of them turned out hotter and more stylish.
What i was even told by my sisters husband who works at Nokia developement in addition to the rumours ive heard, that not only is the phone black, but even the buttons and the naviwheels is black with silver markings on them, that sounds nice, so i will wait, the are already developing the model ive been told, but it wont be annpounced til end of Nov or something and then will be released a month later.

I am from India. Nokia officially launched the N96 phone today in the market.
As per the News, its gonna be available in the market just 2 days before the official launch of iphone in India.
So the big question is .... Is N96 an iphone Killer ???

just seen on www.jaspp.net the news about the N85 an N79 they both look really slim mobiles from Nokia ,an the N79 in White looks very good indeed hope gsmarea or mobile-review give us the specifications on both these new mobiles from Nokia soon
