Andrew, 13 Aug 2008Does the Nokia N96 have to have its headphones in to play MP3 Player or FM Radio?only need headset for radio not mp3 player. mp3 player will play in speakers if no headset is present.

not only are they behind, they allowed the competitors to use whatever advantage they have!
anyone would like to argue with this fact?? pls do so as i am dumb founded by nokia's current state

Nokias announcing two new N series phones on the 18th August the N79 an N85 both with 5 mega-pixel cameras on them,the N85 looks a nice slim slidder from Nokia but why are the releasing these as the N96 is still not available an might turn more people from getting the N96,but theres still another 4 new mobiles on there way from Nokia an dying to see the size an quality of its 8 mega-pixel camera mobile to stop the i8510 out doing them

What in the world is nokia doing? They should release this phone before August ends. 8mp (in high-end camphones) is the standard in months to come. They shouldn't hang around. For sure this will be so expensive for months. And will only be a great deal if your going to buy this before the year ends.

The screen on this phone is no better than the display sported on the N95.Do Nokia think we are stupid?240x320pixels QVGA resolution is not acceptable in this day and age.Most high end phone now have a detailed VGA screen yet this high end model has QVGA with the gimmick 16million colours.Nokia people are getting wise...WE KNOW IT'S THE RESOLUTION THAT MAKES A SCREEN GREAT.

This Phone is way beter than the C905!!!!!jst coz the 905 has 8mpx dosnt mean its more of a beast......
the n96 hs a dual core processor.....deal with that...punks......and C905 is jst a meer java phone.....the N96 is a Symbian OS9.3 S60smart phone!!!!platform ver3.2 with a dual ARM 9 264 Mhz CPU processor.....

this phone cannot compete with SE C905,with the launching of C905 its market will drop heavily ,if price of C905 was not the twice of n96.
