can any other long battery life fit in n96 what bout n78?
how many persons have us1000+ to spend on a phone.some dont even have us450.innov8 will not be a top seller.too expensive.the phone will get boring in a week or three.
who owns symbian now. nokia. that means they can make all the changes they need to stay on top.
are you serious? nokia went back to a BL-5F? this thing better have some serious battery power conservation
Samsung has durability issues not only with mobile phones but also with the rest of their products, tv, ref among others.
Its because their throwing low grade components and parts on their products and devices as part of their marketing strategy. This people in Samsung have sicked minds c", just thinking about profit without considering durability. thats why their not cathing up sales in every fileld their competing into.
They should be filled with worldwide case for maligning people c",
Buy any products except Samsung, you dont want to waste your hard earned money dont you?
I cant imagine putting out my Nokia N82 Black for Nokia N96 or Innov8 or C905 c", reality tells me that my N82 can do most of this coming phones does, good and quality pictures, 30fpm video recording, DIVX movies with just installing a 3rd party software, got everything I need, sweet!
My next upgrade will be a touchscreen, maybe next year when nokia releases its most awaited S60 touchscreen devices, not tube tough, I'm waiting for the flagship touchscreen. Trust me its very cool.
Its inevitable though that Nokia N96 will be the overall winner in sales between the innov8 and c905 because its more affordable than this two, $699 against $1200 from competitors. Added specs and feature means additional cost.
N82 rocks my world ;)
Can"t wait to read a Review of the Real N96 on any website as i was really looking forward to getting the N96 but with the Samsung i8510 being made available before the N96 an is made available before the N96 ,is this phone from Nokia phone better than my Black 8gb N95 as some reviews says not to much,an will we paying extra for certain features on the N96 as i am sure some cost will be added by networks for the tv function on it,i got the Cect N96 but the size of the phone was longer the my 8gb N95 an the screen size the same so hope the real N96 is alittle smaller in size

Look at the N95 its a crappy phone with poor battrey power but still people want it even today. People still have the mentality that Nokia is still the best manufacture of mobiles, believe me the competition is on and tougher then before.
can someone confirm that N96 CPU is ARM9??
plwh888, 04 Aug 2008I speculate the delay behind N96 is the DVB-H TV broadcast receiver, DVB-H is not really ready... moreThers truth in wat u saying..........
i4 1 im thinking of geting this phone bt im impatiant......
i think il go 4 the n95 8GB insted
I speculate the delay behind N96 is the DVB-H TV broadcast receiver, DVB-H is not really ready for prime time and I believe not many countries support it either. Singapore does with the irritating MobileTV on her buses, noisy but am sure if its works with DVB-H or not.
If N96 comes without the DVB-H TV broadcast receiver, then it will become just N95-16GB.
I think Nokia makes a big mistake by naming it N96 when it should be named as N7X in response to the other DVB-H phone. Now most of us are getting mixed up that N96 is N95 replacement when it is actually not.
If Nokia dont release this soon, people will get impatient and switch to Samsung INNOV8, but if Nokia release it sooner, people will find themselves with a useless DVB-H receiver and yet paying for it.
Guess Nokia is facing with a Chicken and Egg situation now . . .
If INNOV8 comes along, I will just say goodbye to N96 . . .
Crystal, 04 Aug 2008which one is better....n95 8gb or n96...want to buy 1. but is it convineant to use?The N96 is definitely better. but the thing is it is yet to be released...
Farhan, 02 Aug 2008Guys Don't Worry :( Nokia's 8 MP Phone is Coming This Christmas So be Happy! :) See here ... morewhich one is better....n95 8gb or n96...want to buy 1. but is it convineant to use?
Bottom line is: with the advent of 8mp camera phones from other manufacturers, and with N96 still being not available in this point in time, N96 is a little out of place. If you remember the N93i last year, you can compare N96 to that one. Although it's a great cell, but because of wrong timing, it won't sell a lot. It will flop! Mark my word!
im hapy with 5mpx...all i want is OPTICAL ZOOM.......HD-video @125fps.
I liked everything about this phone except 2 things:
1) Small battery (should have been at least 1200 mah)
2) Flat Key pad: ugly and not user friendly.
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2008in 2002-2004, vga was the standard. 2004-2005, 1.3mp was the standard. 2005-2006, 2mp was the ... moreAgain regular people doesn't need 8MP
If you want to have that MP go on, pay more for a feature you dont need.. we only need 3R picture size to keep important memory prints, and 3.2MP can even produce this size.
5MP is the saturation point of mobile camera.. again this are GUIDES given by camera EXPERTS, just defy them if you want. its your choice. im sure you have money to pay for extra crap that you dont need.
and im sure that their are millions of people out there who are practical enough to realize this. c", goodluck
