About s/e phones all being the same how can u say that from start of n series nothing has changed and we now almost on n96!! Sony ericsson broke the mould with the best camera phone ever made to date in k800i nokia fans get EXITED if they include a xenon flash on there phones which is rare on nokia's from n80 to n96 very little has changed unlike nokia s/e know when to put ideas to bed like only releasing 2 5mp camera phones unlike nokia as n96 will b there fifth!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970it really depends on what you want..
if you like touchscreen UI with lesser feature, bad, very bad customer support and vurnerable product, get Omnia
if you want a non touchscreen, fully pack feature, total entertainment, best customer support and durable products, get Nokia
its your call
@lee
PC World's recommendations: In purchasing camera
- Match megapixels to your use. A 2-megapixel camera is fine for snapshots, though models with that resolution are becoming less common. If you want to produce 8-by-10-inch prints, you'll need at least a 3-megapixel camera. Four- or 5-megapixel cameras will yield even larger prints and allow you to blow up a part of an image with less likelihood that the print will be blurry.
(So, 5MP is just enough for average users, not if your into photography business.. 8MP is just a waste of money on mobile phone)
Agree?!?
Anyway you dont have to follow this guide..
The guide is for practical and smart people onlyc",
Just Envy!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Dream on lee!!
lets see who has the last laugh after all thisc",take your time to promote your phone because you need to boast its presence. C905 is not getting any attention, poor SE hehehe
N96 will be this years top seller and their nothing you can do but ENVY!!
@ anonymous:
omg so true dude, i'm so agree with u!
SE's OS looks so childish! and u can't really customize it like Nokia's S60!
and yea..8mpx? 5 is enough for me so far..and i use video more often..
c905 is ugly...i also agree there..lol!
the n96 will sell more because everyone is sick of sony ericsson, all their mobiles are the same its just a camera thats different. in my life i have had 6 sony ericssons, you would think they would change something but they dont.
c905 has 8mp that's it, what else so crazy about? Anything over 5mp is not real anymore for me, you could look more handsome on the 8mp's pictures but you know the truth when you look at the mirror...
I just can't stand with that weird OS of SE, it's so childish and stupid to operate... hard to compare with Symbian, and did I mention about the c905 look ugly?
I would sell my N95 8GB to get N96 NAM version when it's ready, I don't know why people keep complaining about N96 same as N95 8GB or no different.
FP 2 fixed the battery drain problem so I'm not worry.
16 GB memory bigger storage and microSD 8GB are good enough for recording even a movie.
128 RAM, Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU (Faster than N95 8GB)
Navigate wheel would help browsing easier on the menu, that a lovely function cos I'm getting bored of pressing the button!
TV if avaiable in Canada would be nice, if not, no big deal.
Video code supported more RM and AVI formats which is why they made it look so filmsy with a kick stand at the back.
2 leds is brighter for video recording, well, at lease it's better than single led.
Nokia is trying alot to add features and creating all kinds of functions to make their phone perfect, other brand just copy like a lazy bitch with no brain.
However, I think Nokia should push their product more faster since all this bitches around are trying to beat them.

jrr555, 19 Jul 2008i always go for SE prod but lately i'm buying nokia cel like N81 phone which for me works fine... morethe answer to your question y s/e stick to 256 or 262k colour screen is all 16 million does is totally drain battery and as long as u have a good camera ie megapixels also good xenon flash there is no difference will screen colour any nokia user will confirm that they ajust screen brightness to 262k anyway to retain battery performance
