The N96 has to be delay till October for hardware replace. Good news, the VGA with 480x680, Xenon flash, new 5 MP, 2592x1944 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics and 2500mAh battery.

friday july 25th nokia are going to officially announce this handset is not going to be released this handset is going to be replaced by a higher end handset as yet no name/features announced.. due to be announced officially october 08 for release in december08

C905 only has 8MP Camera ...NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS! so thats boring..
N96 has more to offer more features more style newer features updates as Anonymous Said
Nokia have come along way since the Original N95, N95 8GB which is Great, N82 the best 5MP Phone and then N96 which is entertainment all over
thats called Variety!

I will sell my N95 8GB to get the N96 because N95 8GB and N96 are different, yes "Lee" it is different...

MicriSD > N/A
DVB-H TV > N/A
Dual LED > Single
filmsy kick stand designed > N/A
Navigation Wheel(another browser option to get files faster and easier)
FP2 handles battery well, more video and audio code supported
USB data transfer speed will be faster than N95 8GB.
All these features so far...
As a N95 8GB owner should knows how strong and fun of Symbian, hard to switch to some boring OS like SE, if you buy SE just because of 8mp, you will be so regret and will get bored to play with SE's OS, like you brought a 8mp camera but not a phone... 8mp camera cos a $120 bucks something?!

hehe just because c905 is 8mp doesnt mean it is better in the picture quality...
barring the fact that n96 can do vga video recordng at 30fps it uses a good quality lens, big lens than other mobile phones, fast rpocessor...
I mean they say that there are 5 factors to cosider on how good a camera could be
1.processor
2.lens
3.sensor
4. placing
5.resolution
out of those 5 n96 fulfills 4...and the c905 only has 3 (not as fast processor, lens arent known)

Play.com said at first they should have it by the 31st July but they have put it back month now to 31st August,Why? is it taking so long to get the N96 being made available for release i think they have been more bothered about it touch screen mobile thats going to be used in the NEW BATMAN MOVIE TO GET IT ADVERTISED MORE THAN THE N96 SO I HOPE THE 5800 TUBE IS A QUALITY MOBILE BY NOKIA

I cant blame you if you wont upgrade to Nokia N96 because you already have a great phone N95 8gb. I believe N96 is an upgrade for non owners of N95 8gb and to tell you, I'm one of the non owners. I want this as an upgrade from Nokia 6233 because of its undeniable great feature
C905 is just not good enough because it only offers us a bigger megapixel camera..nothing more..
why should people choose such phone when 5megapixel of N96 is already good enough to produce great quality picture and yet together with the camera, to enjoy a whole lot of feature with Nokia N96, a total entertainment feature that is.. not present C905?
can you blame us for making the best choice and the smart choice?

SE phones are just bits of plastic put together with spit!

Joe, 20 Jul 2008@lee se phones are good only in cameras..but dude it's n96 symbian 0s 9.2..the best phones ar... morei have owned n80 n95 and now have n95 8gb which i love dont get me wrong this is a very good phone (n96) but when it is released i will b able to upgrade but i can not see apart from the extra memory wot i will gain from upgrading to n96 if anything it will b a downgrade due to the Very poor battery symbian is not that important to me as i would now prefer a handset with better battery life

About s/e phones all being the same how can u say that from start of n series nothing has changed and we now almost on n96!! Sony ericsson broke the mould with the best camera phone ever made to date in k800i nokia fans get EXITED if they include a xenon flash on there phones which is rare on nokia's from n80 to n96 very little has changed unlike nokia s/e know when to put ideas to bed like only releasing 2 5mp camera phones unlike nokia as n96 will b there fifth!!
