wow... Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU.. when Motorola's been using ARM11 500Mhz on V8/V9 for like a year already... yea, 28Mhz more than a single ARM11, big deal.
This phone is gonna be laggy as hell with all the features it has and I'm sure the battery life will suck .. 950mhz for this phone?? you must be kidding me.
Not a big fan of nokia designs??
Well at least youll see who the designers are.
i really really love this phone but the talk time scares me it just too small
Kada, 03 Jul 2008strictly on the design aspect of things, it looks good, but not effective. for example why do ... moreu can use the music navigation when the slide is up and when u dont want to use the slide down buttons

Miant, 02 Jul 2008Is the N96 slow?? I just saw the processor and it's a ARM9 264 MHz, that's kinda slow, right??... moreWeel, appears to have duall processors! So it shouldn't be slow, just like duo core pc's the frequency for dual core processors is slower than single core ones.
hmmmmm i've been looking for models of the N96 in china mainland and hong kong. My uncle tells me (he runs a mobile phone shop) that he can get the N96, real one, for the warehouse price of about 8k Chinese Dollars. It translates back to about 1.1k USD.
He says that it is a HK spec'd phone and does not know whether it will work outside the china network. Sadly, he did not have any on hand to show me since 8k for a phone in china is ALOT of money, it's like paying 8k for a phone over here.
He has a couple of fake N96s for sale. I turned them on to have a look and as far as I know, they either don't have the Symbian OS at all or only have the N95 8GB Symbian version.
