NOKIA: I HAVE A QUESTION: Why here in Mexico We have the phones too late, maybe 1 year, or 1 and a half year late ?!!!
I am waiting for the N96....so, I have to wait 2 years? The N82 has not been released yet...
I really like the N95, but I would like to get the N96. I have a N73 since february 2007. It is a great phone.

I am reading all this now with more vigor.I have decided to go with the advice YOU gave me here and abandon my plan of getting the PRADA phone. I had a little bit go with the iPhone and It was bad in my opinion.
I now think YOU are right about the NN 96. It could be the phone for me over the N95 which will be released after the N80. The SE phones have buttons.
In the end I could do with advice on the battery. Will the NN 95 battery fit the NN 96? Or Slider/Candybar phone for me.
Thank you for what is an very excellent NEW forum and the likes of Ying and Steve J YOU are brilliantfor helping us. Must be taking of your time to respond with such clarity and precision.

hello, i don't understand one thing...these phone is available or not? why i'm asking this?because i've wrote an email to nokiaCARE europe about " if n96 is on sale, or not" and there answer was that "n96 is on the market"...did someone found this phone in stores?

Well, software is one reason, another reason I think is that there is no such screen that have 2.8inch size(which may still suitable for handy use), 640x480 resolution, 24-bit colors, and not so high price.
Anyway this is the spec. of N96, if one don't like it, just go away. So much other phones for you, right?
Or maybe arguing for something is the reason to live for some people.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE MAKING STUPID COMMENTS
first of all i will like to point out that the n96 does have a video calling camera 100% LOOK AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER it aint a ambient light sensor!!!!!
NOKIA is the only company in the world that knows how to put 240*320* resolution in huge screen
WHY PEOPLE ASK? 240*320* screens resolution let me tell u
240*320* resolution or QVGA has support millions of software and APPLICATIONS unlike awkward resolutions
