What More Do You Want in a Phone?
Remember No Phone is Perfect!!! Just like with the other phone brands namely sony ericson, samsung, motorola etc.... You will find it that there are pros and cons on each type of product.. Nokia would just like to be unique and sophisticated in design and features. It depends on the lifestyle and test of the user. For nokia users, go! go! go!!!!

the battery that this phone have is the same with n95-1's battery.. quite sure that this phone will be having a big problem when it comes to batt life....

A question to the readers is whether this device features infrared. Not that it would be much of an issue, but just for my knowledge. No website that I have visited (including nokia.com) clearly specifies this feature.

whattt!? I used GsmArena's compare between the N96 and the N95 8gb...
The N96 downgraded back to the Standard battery, Li-Ion 950 mAh (BL-5F) -vs- a Standard battery, Li-Ion 1200mAH (BL-6F) which the Nokia N95 8gb now caries.
What FREAKY is that I just read on engadgetmobile.com ... The (Chinese) "LionKing800 boasts a remarkable 365 days standby or 3-5 days talk. The source of that power is a 16,800mAh lithium battery -- that's about 10x the juice of a standard cellphone battery."
What... 365 DAYS?!?!?!?!

You have to carry one piece with you when you baught a mobile phone, this piece is "the phone". But with this mobile N96 you have to carry two pieces always with you. The phone and the charger! because it's battery life is terrible. I don't know why Nokia choose to put a 950mAh battery while they put 1200mAh battery in the N95-8GB??!!! it's a 10 steps back.
