Best phone on the market, but it is not easy to understand why nokia removed the camera cover. It is a big mistake, since without the camera cover this phone will never substitute a real camera, which is something you expect from an expensive phone like this.
n96 is some n95 8gb onlu difrent is hard disk 8gb is very big cant use all 16is very bad h dont use this hard desk n96 same n81 i dont like n96 i like n95 8gb be cause only hard disk difrent and n96 is some model n81 n96 is gps programe nokia maps 2.00v i can add this program in n95 8gb no other defrent
this phone sucks.. it's so heavy, id doesn't fit on pockets... how come you've made this kind of phone.. Nokia cant made small phone with big features..
I found two different types of n96 pictures on the nokia website. One has 4 media keys (like the n95) while the other has just two buttons with circle like figures on them. ANother thing I saw was that one had media keys around the d-pad while the other didnt! I think they will sell two types. One that is music/video dedicated while the other would be gaming type
Please tell me waddup with this
Something is bothering me. does the N96 have dual camera for video calling? I don't see it having a camera in front
it's funny how the ratings are so low on the phone when it's clearly top of the market. probably a combination of SE experia fans who want it to fail, and older diehard n95 users who are broke after buying theirs and wont be able to afford the n96. but seriously...8.1 8.2 8.1??? this thing is worlds better than what's out there, even with the crap battery life. vote accurately, not strategically
N96 seems to be more functional and usefull than N95 and the sux IPhone.
- Edge communication is interesting, but 3G needs to improve;
- the battery life is very low and needs to improve the internal system, or improve the battery charge.
sleek and good functions
i want to get this phone or the iphone:D:D
anyone knows how much it's going to be?
It looks more like an N81 upgrade than an N95, but I still kind of like it, but I don't like it enough to replace my 8gb N95. Things that turned me off with this phone is first of all the price, 2nd the features are pretty much the same with the N95 except for the 16gb memory which is too much for me (I barely used up 2gb on mine). I don't like the whole phone being glossy. I could deal with the front, but to have the whole phone glossy is too much wiping for an obsessive-compulsive person like me. And lastly, its poor battery. I say if you do not own an N95 8gb, this would be a cool phone to have, but if you already have an N95 8gb, stick with you N95 and wait for another upgrade or two. Hopefully it would have more significant improvements by then that's worth spending that cash for an upgrade =)
