Moshonis, Nokia make a wireless portable Bluetooth keyboard that you can use with the N96.
Yet I feel that Nokia are making a mistake in producing not one single QWERTY based N-series phone. There are many who desire N-series features but need a QWERTY to make text input easier. Nokia continues to ignore this sector. I can see that SE are attempting to capture it with their forthcoming Xperia X1.
Nokia should look into their warehouses for there are many treasures there. The three way swivel on the N93 is a case in point. They could modify it to a two way swivel: "fold open" position for answering and making calls just like a flip (clamshell) phone; "laptop" position for viewing and texting. They could now place a full QWERTY on the phone. Nokia would have to be careful not to make the phone too thick (no more than 20mm). Furthermore, weight would have to be sub 150g. If they could marry these parameters to state-of-the-art N features they will have a winner.

To Ying,
if you want to be taken seriously I suggest you desist from expletives and vulgarity. Since you want to be an ambassador for the N96 then comport yourself with dignity. As for your original article it was misleading in places because you suggested that in some cases of dim light photography dual high current LED was superior to Xenon flash. This is a falsehood. You failed to understand the term burst of high intensity light although I clearly explained it to you. It is clear that you are one of those people who read what you want to read in a text and not what is actually written! You fail as an ambassador and a progressive scientist because you do not listen. So many have bitterly complained about the lack of a lens cover. This is a sophisticated device with Carl Zeiss optics not a child's toy. It deserves a lens cover just like far cheaper compact digital cameras have. The 5MP camera performs well and Nokia are kicking themselves in the teeth by not protecting what they struggled to produce. Ying, your arrogant dismissal of this omission is incredible.
You talked of super capacitors and how they would lengthen battery life. In any scientific discussion one has to provide empirical data. You did not state how in terms of duration the N96 battery compares with that of the N95 8GB. Will it last twice or even three times as long for the same load? If both devices are using Bluetooth or WiFi under the exact same conditions how do the battery durations compare? Your claim concerning super capacitors and improved battery longevity is interesting but we need to see empirical comparative data.

I currently have a Nokia N73, I play music on it for like 8-10 hours straight at times and the battery life tends to stay at 3 bars after this much music ;)

I don't understand why Nokia would use such a weak Battery. I had the N95 and battery life was poor. The battery in my N958Gb is great.I would not consider purchasing the N96 until the issue is resolved.

iv come to a Conclusion on this Nokia confusion!

N95 and N82 = both Camera and Music centric phones and the best 2 out of the N-Series in the past 2 Years

N95 8GB and N96 = Improvements in terms of Multimedia of N95 and N82

so the best ones to buy out of all them are N95 and N82

N95 8GB and this N96 if you want Pure Multimedia !

Best phone on the market, but it is not easy to understand why nokia removed the camera cover. It is a big mistake, since without the camera cover this phone will never substitute a real camera, which is something you expect from an expensive phone like this.
