For those complaining that the Nokia N96 is no different from the Nokia N95, better yet a downgrade, here's some interesting things that should be considered.
Take notice that the Nokia N96 has a dedicated media key section on the face of the phone and of course on the slider part. I read posts calling Nokia stupid for doing that. Are they really? Or is it that you are the stupid one?
Take a look at the picture of the Nokia N96 in the upper left portion on your screen. Notice the media keys on the face are not persent. Just the "call, end call, multimedia, clear, and the two confirming" keys are present. Also take note of the slide position of the phone. Where they go?
Click into the extended pictures of the phone. Take a long, hard look at the three pictures of the Nokia N96. Notice anything about the media keys? I do. That's all I'm saying.
For those who finally catch it and believe it must be a photo error or whatever, watch the official Nokia N96 commercial and pay attention.

And what exactly does Worldwide Leader Nokia and news feeder Symbian-Freak lie about?
Oops. Hit the submit button by accident.
Anyways, moving on to the next topic which is directly based on the Nokia N96 and it's specs.
The dual LED flash.
The Nokia N96 uses high-current LEDs, which GREATLY differ from the low end LEDs you all compare xenon to.
Here's the article. I suggest you all read it.

For the people like r.0.c.k (i didn't forget your ignorant self) who's ability to decipher charts, graphs and text and then apply it is non existent, allow me to sum it up.
LEDs with a supercapacitor has many advantages over Xenon. The light energy generated by LED flash exceeds most xenon flashes. With supercapacitor-based LED Flash comparable to xenon in light energy, other attributes of the supercapacitor solution make this more attractive for use in mobile phones, most notably the thin form factor which enables a flash unit < 2mm thick. In other words, you get smaller phones in form due to the lack of space need to accommodate the large electrolytic storage capacitor for xenons. In addition, unlike the electrolytic storage capacitor for xenon, the supercapacitor can be used to meet all the peak power needs of the mobile phone including the RF Power Amp and the audio amplifiers to enable the phone to drive higher power high quality speakers. Translation. Your phone performs better while consuming much less energy from the battery.
For whomever posted this, "high capacity dual led". haha. nice marketing attempt but most people are smart enough not to fall for it. If it ain't used in professional high end cameras it aint good for photography... thus xenon rules!", is just as stupid. First of all, this isn't a high end camera, but a multimedia device. If you can say that, then i can say that high end camera sucks because you can't self edit pictures on the device nor add special effects. Same difference.
What you expect an article from symbian press to be unbiased?!Nokia and Symbian fill the web with complete lies. The sdk for Symbian is trully DREADFUL
I like it very much.N96 really unbelievable with 16Gb internal memory.
Seems like my previous posts regarding the Nokia N96 haven't satisfied the general audience. So I'm going to touch base on all the comments and concerns of this phone to clear everything up once and for all.
All direct arguments are welcome.
Concerning the comparison of the Apple Iphone and the Nokia N96 is utterly ridiculous. The two phones are total opposites: specs, O.S., functions, built, etc. This phone IS NOT in anyway way an "Iphone killer" or "the answer to Apple's Iphone" so please stop. Nokia has an answer to the crappy Iphone and its followers called the S60 Touch UI. Read this article and then honestly tell how great the Iphone and the copy cats are now.
