Another plus of this handset is it looks like they finally put RDS in the FM radio and got rid of that hopeless 'visual radio' thing.

no doubt its a great phone but the battery sucks nd the n81 style slider sorry not my cuppa tea cos the menu selecter on the n81 hurt ya thumb after a while beacuse it was metal nd the slider did get very loose but the n95 8gb slider has been sturdy for me and the phone has been world class plus i work in o2 insurance so would get a feel for the phone first hand

Ok this phone WILL be better than the N95 and it's sub-par slider that gets loose... if anyone has touched an N81 they'll know the slider is sturdy and doesnt seem like it'll loosen up. SO that makes me want this one just for that. No loose slide = happy me.

Definitely, it looks like it will wipe out Iphone completely..... I hope this is compatible with Tom Tom with its internal GPS unlike N95....

Great phone from nokia but battery life sucks. i own the n82 and every night i have to charge it. imagine what the battery life of the n96 will be like. GREAT PHONE THOUGH

Ok, it all sounds good whats on it, but some things I miss..
Like Xenon Flash, why doesnt Nokia put it on?
And why no touch screen, thats quite hot at the moment, so why not play into that market?
I hope the phone will also come soon to Holland, so I can have the thing in my hand to try it out!

yeah! they should have atleast created a touchscreen for this phone! NO! changes at all and No! added featuers! and this phone looks like the other N-series feature NO! added extra features! Nokia are such a loosers! and the othe ne models of Nokia lacks of many features! and Nokia are still creating phone that lacks many feature! hello! Nokia what's the year today it's already year 2008 and your new models lacks of many features and the design's of your nwe models are all the same with the old brands! Nokia are such a loosers!

first impression isnt tat a n81 looks n n95 8gb features coupled together. does seem tat way.though has new features including the double led flash as compared to n95 8gb the battery is jus 950 mah . wasnt the same battery used in the original n95. i think the battery is useless if u intend deriing the fullest potential of this cell. nokia will wait & maybe launch the 20gb n96 with 1200mah battery
