Maybe the keypad lock button is jammed and you need need to move it right and left a couple of times to make it work again.

Do the other functions o... morethanks for the reply; i just cannot use the phone at all. though i can see the screen saver, i cannot unlock the phone, neither sliding it helps. its as good as switched off, or atleast the alarm rings when its switched off but even that does not happens with the prob that i face.

my phone shows that it is on, however it is off. it may sound confusing; so let me give examples. i can see the screen saver and the light on the direction key flickers however when someone calls; i cant hear the tone and the phone rings for them. i cannot operate the phone at all, the alarm wont ring. but again it does not show as switched off. what to do??

n86 is better then n96. its has good 8mp cam as well the speed is also good considered to n96

So both e52 and e66 out of the box are faster then n96 but with the upgraded firmware n96 speed will improve. Depends what you want from a phone.

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2010@ sachin, I heard this mobile is too slow. Is it right?It has a 264mhz proccesor slower then 364mhz of the n95 for example. So originaly is not fast but if you get the 30.101 the latest firmware it's speed will improve considerably.

I got this phone after the day it was released. this phone was great somehow it has ups and downs. battery was drained in a matter of hours and the memory cannot hold its files. i hope you know what i mean.
