hard reset code is:
*#7370# then enter the password by default the pw is 12345
or
shutdown the phone, before starting it press the *key+3key+the GREEN dialing key and then switch it on.

seyram bedzra, 18 Nov 2009i need help! My nokia n96 does not have live tv and my ngage is givin me system error.am in ghana. try doing a hard or soft reset.. Go to google- hard factory reset n96 etc... I just dont have the code with me.

If your phones is a service provider phone then you have to update the firmware and if your phone is unlock, it should have live tv and about the n-gage i have the newest version. Nokia N96 is truely the greatest phone ever produced in the world. It has an excellent calling ability(handset), screen display(resolution), picture quality(camera), sound quality(3D stereo speakers), digital tv broadcasting(DVB-H internal antenna),navigation and mapping(ovi map), gaming(n-gage), various connectivities and the higher the firmware update the better the performance. It truely connect people and i'm proud of being part.

Look man..its your choice,you like good camera?
Get a high quality NOKIA or get nokia N96 if you wanna play a bit with it...^^
