you hv a point muzzo, well, there really are no perfect cellphone device out there yet. . unless we're satisfied on what we have at the moment.
D Jones, i hvnt tried X1 just saw them on some video reviews but tnx anyway for the advice. .
i guess i'll give 5800 a try for while once it's out that is. .
don't be too dazzled by the specs and features on this phone because what really counts is if it's operating system - the Symbian which was never designed for touchscreen in the first place - holds up and measures up to the touch interface...wait and see first before you part with those dollars and euros...
aintme, 03 Dec 2008but muzzo, X1 respond so slow and lags as shown on most video reviews. .
how come it can be... moreIt might be a bit slow but not that much as you're saying...make sure you close application that are not in use. Even a PC gets slow when is not being well used...you should keep less than appl running then you xperience a really good mobile. I got that lesson from my P1i witch is a good divise too!
this is not fair i was going to buy the 5800 :'( now i have to wait again
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yo are wrong man, with nokia you are able to use office Suit Quick office, excel, *.pdf docs and edit them, you can watch flash or any popular codecs movie files, and that very fast start and smooth quality!
Finally Nokia has decided to join The Revolution . I always thought they were too arrogant in believing that they will forever stay in the arena with their non-touchscreen phones . Looks like Nokia won't lose out like Siemens and Motorola .
N97 Specification is not bad. But the release date too long.
Can Nokia beat Sony Ericsson Hikaru? Hikaru will release before N97 (early Q2 2009)
Hikaru clearly ahead from the Nokia .
Anonymous, 03 Dec 2008never if you know what is good...
buy a n series nokia!
im not some fan of se, samsung, mo... moreHave you tryied XPERIA X1?
Try it then you'll see the amasing mobile xperience!
i dont see nothing new on this N97
but muzzo, X1 respond so slow and lags as shown on most video reviews. .
how come it can be great?
it's a winmo though. .
never if you know what is good...
buy a n series nokia!
im not some fan of se, samsung, motorola or whatever other phone i have had many diffrent phones from diffrent manufactures!
and 1 thing ive learnt with nokia...
every n series is a piece of junk!
n70 was my first, then n95.. n97 im not going to bother with until i read some promising reviews..
end of the day its your pick guys.. good luck!
i'm happy that you're enjoying yourself and your prototype N97. .
you are being a big help in this post. .
hope that you keep on doing that. .
Bla bla bla that wath you are down...
These times big phones as to come with WM O.S anmd this little toy doens...
The Only "big" thing here are the 32GB, all other features you can find in others cheapper nokia phones!
X1 stills the ONE!
i've been hearing about WinMo being better than Symbian. .
can any1 tell me the Pros and Cons of WinMo over Symbian OS and vice versa. .
i've been a symbian user eversince but i don't have an idea about WinMo OS. .
this can be a good guide in choosing a multimedia phone. .
The phone is basically using the new atom processor from intel.
And then they also squeezed out some juice from HTC touch HD,I phone 3g and a little bit of neonode n2 to give you finger sliding enjoyment when you use the touch feature on this n97.
Ram is kinda confidential issue but if you insist you will get rammed by a tank!
I got the prototype like I said and it's like having an airforce one in my hands. So watch out losers!
