Hey guys you know what? The nokia n97 is built for left handed users just like me. It has a unique left sided navigation key in qwerty keyboard thats why no matter some of people here pull the n97 down. I would just ignore them.
Even if the sky is falling down, i wont leave my nokia n97 down. Hahaha!
Anyway nokia n97 users, are there any posibilities to upgrade our precious phones such as upgrade the 128mb RAM to 256mb RAM and overclocking the CPU just like nokia n900 does that can reach up to 900mbhz?
Last. Whats the advantage of the updated version of n97 than the stock version?
Answers are very much appriciated. Thank a lot.
Godspeed and aim high Nokia N97...

So neither you need to pay any data charge for installing nor to use it afterwards. Infact I dont have any data plan and I even deleted my access point for GPRS/EDGE so that even accedently I wont get charged and I am still using OVI maps without any issue.

Extremely disappointed with the N97 OVI maps for the following reasons :
1. The map needs to be downloaded through the network and has costs an excessive amount of money
2. The maps are not resident on the phone resulting in ongoing download charges
3. If I go into a new area I first need to download the map
4. How can I go somewhere if the map isn’t actually on my phone
5. I have been in areas where there is absolutely no network coverage or at best not 3G coverage. Therefor getting a map is a problem
6. The phone doesn’t store all the maps of areas where you have been
7. The network charges are ridiculous
8. When I bought the phone I had maps on the phone. The OVI maps replaced the resident maps bought which were reliable and available.
I think the result is a failure. I can’t tell you how disappointed & frustrated I am with OVI maps

Its still fast [mad themes do slow it tho.] Great phone qwerty is really nice with kenetic scrolling, :):):)
when I work all day on it,with everythin on, bluetooth, wlan, gps, videos, games and calls, my battery last for MAX 24 hours, if I do not do anything, maybe 2-3 calls per day it lasts 3.5 days, and if I use it regulary i mean not all the time but most of it it lasts 2 days...
