Anonymous, 13 Jan 2010Hi,I just purchased this phone .When transferring data via a bluetooth all seems to get stored... moremenu -> messages -> settings -> other -> memory in use -> desired memory (e: or f:)
this will still put transferred files via bluetooth to the messaging folder, but they are stored in the memory you selected. if you have a file browser application installed on your device, its easy to fine the files. if not, go to default file manager and use the "find" option to locate your files transferred by blutooth
Hi,I just purchased this phone .When transferring data via a bluetooth all seems to get stored in my folder under messages rather than going straight into their respective folders and besides its storing under the normal phone memory and not the mass memory which now means everytime I try using an application it tells me not enough space. How do I sort this out!!!Pls assist.Much appreciated.
No matter how hard the i-phone(which in my opinion has nothing else but its fancy touch screen) lovers try to criticize it,N97 still is the best phone on the market today. Its only direct competitor is N900,but i still prefare my N97.

Can anyone help me? I have to choose between the N97 and HTC Touchpro 2. At this stage I use the HTC Tytn 2 and it works for me. Only problem is that you can't download sms's to PC. Apparantly the N97 can. I also use Office mobile a lot and need to know if the N97 work as well with Mobile office as the HTC. All the reports I got is that you can only view files not make new ones like with the HTC.
Please help, Thanx
sanibonani! i used to #hate# my N97 and always bemoaned my xmas bonus which i unwittingly squandered on it! kodwa, slowly but surely, the nokia N97 is getting under my skin...i love the fact that my memory-watching days are over, i can load as much music, pics, vids as i want and the N97, #my# N97 takes it all with minimal freezing or reduction in operating speed! guess it ain't no cheap china fongkong! i'm just saying!
love the music quality, call quality, calendar funtions, notes, pics&vids... etc etc etc... would trade it, but nah i think i'll enjoy it fully in time..
love it long time!
gngfsngf, 12 Jan 2010worst phone i ever had worst -:
1) touch screen
2) response time
3) sound qualty
4) camera... moreCamera is 5MP!! No knowledge, no opinion.
Phone has bugs, but overall it works well and its reliable enough.
I have to carry a secondary phone just in case if this freezes. The average freezing time is every 10 days. Nokia should give us all one more free touch screen so that our secondary phone looks good.
Never and believe me, never buy the n97.
i don't like how it reboots itself out of nowhere and how slow it could be sometimes..

kent, 11 Jan 2010N97...the worst nokia ever. so much problems. laggy. touch screen dont work.,freezes....etc. totally agree!
i have this funny experience with this device yesterday. its my cuz's b-day, and she borrwed my n97 for taking pics. it came back to me after 3 hours. it was fully charged and still in full charge. when i woke up this next morning, i played a couple of n-gage games for 30 mins, i noticed that the battery slashed 1 bar already (86.3% power left). no problems at all, except when i open the task manager, a whopping 10 apps are running (apps include internet, music player, and a paused movie) through out from last night till early morning!!! i was amazed coz i experienced no lags or any problems unlike my past smart phones. BTW the ram left was 3MB before i closed all the apps...
The Nokia N97 is an absolutely great mobile! It gets even better after updating the latest required firmware. You can get use to it in a few hours though once you truly know your N97, you can greatly exploit it's features...
Gautam Thukral, 11 Jan 2010man! this phone sucks! its just been a couple of months in use and the colour of the side volu... morewhoa!! i believe that besides plastic, n97 is made out of chrome and stainless steel. i can tell because i live in a freezing cold location, and the chrome and steel parts of my device becomes terribly cold while the plastic stays in normal. I have sweaty hands too, and my finger print always stays on the chrome part, but after a few wipes, its looking new again...
