AnoN, 12 Aug 2009Does anyone know of the Nokia N97C? A client came in to the store today with the N97C. If anyo... moreHahah. nokia n97 c is same shaped phone as n97 but its chinese and thats not made of nokia.. its fullname is n97c (c for chinese).. you can see here http://www.dualsimmobileshop.co.uk/n97c-black-qwerty-keyboard-analog-tv-p-111.html?zenid=bt945o34ljcageptoi7ip6e921
This cell is doomed, even after update to 11 screen lock botton need twice presses to onn, dito copy of 5800 software, when you peel the protector sharpness not as clear, even double click age old mouse concept on desk top present. Price above 600 $ obnoctious?
when phone mem on start up 40 mb even changing all apps on phone it goes down to 20 and cannot find in apps manager where there are. Whats the use of 32GB.
Nokia should now rename its products to CNOKIA Made in China may be only labelled rest chinese made, as other chinese cells are worth 100$ max with same features even E52 N98 models avail with wifi blutooth and 8GB cards avail, then why Finnish only known by the brand are fading away in chinese territory.
you feel the roughness in finish and african latin far eastern region available n market. God save CNOKIA
Nokia is ditching Symbian OS for Maemo and Winmo after all. So for those still planning to get the N97, you may want to do some hard thinking.
Nokia admitted that the symbian os is not good enough to keep up with Apple's OSX, RIM, Palm OS and Android. So there Nokia fanboys. Don't you wish you bought the iphone 3gs instead? Hahahahahaha.

I just bought N97 in Vietnam.but there are few problem with message ... moreOf course those doesn't work in vietnam...unless you have a monthly data usage plan instead of the vietnamese phone card you pay to just call and receive calls/messages when you run out of minutes.
Vietnam doesn't offer the data/internet/gps package plans like those of Europe, America, and other developed countries....
I have had my N97 for 4 days now. On taking delivery of it it seemed like a gd handset. Buti feel v disapointed now. The handset seems to lock up my laptop when i connect the handset via USB, keep gettin message of 'Found New hardware, MTP Device'.
I have tried to find out how to adjust the volume of a track when using the Music player. I have tried to use the obvious volume key on the side of the handset, treid running my finger/thumb ova the screen but still can adjust it. I gonna return the handset back to Vodafone as they offer a 7 day returns policy. I am very very disapointed with the N97. I have had a N95 for 2+ yrs and it has been a gd handset to me.

Who can say which picture was taken with i8910 or N97? There's no proof. And by every renowned mobile reviewer site it's shown that N97's 5MP camera is nowhere nearby Omnia HD's market best 8MP camera...
