And i aint a geek, i just love technology. I ordered two N97's on Amazon and my partner will be here in 3 days, he will put them in his carry on. That way customs can't rape me wit their disgusting charges. Email me @ email@example.com, i might still be get another one on the 19th. You Snooze you lose.
Only 5 Mega Pixels, Many new phones now have 8 Mega Pixel Camera, Also i have Heard there is a Fault with the N97 is that the Battery drains out within 12 hours in stand-by, Only time will tell.
i am interested to know of N97 can be hacked for multitouch? just like the G1.
iphone hacker like iphone-dev team is very smart, they change and hack the iphone for additional features, for [piracy](installous), in order to make it perfect and better. is there any very smart symbian s60v5 hackers out there? i need you to hack it for multitouch and piracy

If is it not too difficult for you, go to the US patent office site and enter patent NUMBER 7,479,949.and inform yourself.
This means that only Apple can legally use the multitouch gestures it is their own intellectual property, stop your BS.

Anyone who always used Nokia phones will be proud to have this phone, and if you flow more to Sony Ericsson phones then you will go for the X1. The trouble for me is that I like both companies. They are both at the top of the game.
Whether you need the Sony Ericsson Xperia, or Nokia N97, you get them free and at the cheapest contract price from http://www.ukmobilephonenetworks.com
Although the phone is quite packed with features but the overall feel and experience of the device is quite pathetic. For so many Bucks it looks and feels far from impressive in hand. The display too aint that impressive. I am keeping my Xperia as it looks and feels like real cool stuff and not some cheap toy that plays vintage attari games. NOKIA better hire good designers soon...
mine has frozen about 3 times a day for a week now, and sometimes when i receive calls, the screen stays blank and doesnt tell me. also doesnt play ringtone etc. i know this because i tried ringing myself.
ive been waiting since nov for this phone and am disappointed. also upgraded the firmware to no avail.
Finally another lucian on GSM arena let me say i really really want this fone i currently have an htc touch diamond and i've had it with the windows mobile 6.1 OS i would much prefer symbian but, to the last lucian guy, how are you getting the n97 are you ordering it?? plz reply.
Quote: "...iPhone Sales are also poised to break records at more than 1.7 million handsets yesterday, yet the much anticipated Nokia N97 is reported to have already exceeded the 2.6 million mark with pre-order figures reflected as high as 3.2 million units based on last week's reported figures..."
