Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970haha you are an iphone hater and a stand-up comedian!LOL
phone is for all ages! thats how good it is!
disabled person, and senior citizens uses nokias! who get used to prehistoric phones and dont have the mental and physical ability to change phones and get used to it anymore. they needed keyboard buttons and a big font because of poor eyesight and lack of finger control abilities. They need a very loudspeaker because they cant hear that much!LOL
i guess you are one of them, dont worry iphone users will also use nokias when they get old!LOL
the next firmware update will include the official SKYPE in it:))))) once the skype is ready nokia will release it soon!
1. Does it support AUTOFILL FORM? it is usefull in web browser?
2. Does it AUTO CONNECT to Wifi? save me a lot of time
3. What are the current firmware version, v10? V20 is the final one?
4. what feature do you n97 users wish to have in next firmware update?
5. can the camera does digital zoom?
6. can it be hacked now?

Mazen, 27 Jun 2009hellow guys...
am really confused between nokia N97 & HTC touch pro 2 ...referring to ur expe... moreit is simple
n97 has good look, it is designed by japaneses
nokia is the brand you can trust
n97 has excellent build quality
symbian is more popular than winmo
go for it
am really confused between nokia N97 & HTC touch pro 2 ...referring to ur experience, what u advice me to buy?knowing that i have right now the nokia E51,10xs...
At last! N97 is finally here in the Philippines. Not pre-order. Available in stores June 29. =)
hi,in nokia n86 review, gsm arena says that smart dialing can be installed.is it the same for nokia n97???can i installed smart dialing for n 97???
Ive had this amazing phone for almost a day. So far no issues, im enjoying it so much. Everything has been working well..
just a quick comment on the n97 after using it for a day on vodafone version 10 firmware
phone hasnt crashed once , i have used all of 48gb memory apart from 2.9 gb , the phone is still quite quick , it has a bit of lag when opening the music player but there is 23 dyas of music in there
video playback seems to stutter a bit iam wandering if i have to defrag the mass memory like i did the n96 when i got it the stutter can be quite annoying
only had 40mb of rom at boot on the c drive , really need a way to hard reset this phone , 5800 methods dont work , wander if i can get it higher then 40mb or rom on the c drive
ram is quite low as well around 40mb at boot , multi tasking still works ok , sat nav , mp3 while sending a txt etc etc
slider is nice on mine and the device actually feels like a high end device no creaks or rattles which is a change from nokia
touch screen could be more responsive
for the 1st v10 firmware it is pretty dam good espeacially as the one i used was voda branded
id recomend you go try one in the shops first
48gb of memory in my handset is brilliant throw that in with the great sat nav (garmin) 5mp camera , good music player with a2dp support , nice email support , radio and loads of symbian apps too choose from and iam well happy with it
yeah it could have been better and is a bit exspensive but everyone knew what it was going to be ages ago
its turnt out just as nokia said it would
quite suprised how well it works even on v10
heard v11 is coming within the next 2 weeks too which will improove stabillity just like it did on the n96
by the time this handset gets to a v20 it will be an absoloute killer
the samsung omnia hd soes have much better spec but does it have the support that nokia offer with firmware updates etc
i was sooo tempted by the omnia hd but the orange branding ruined it for me
if you are a spec hunter and dont mind debranding/hcking etc then go for the omnia hd with its awesome spec it has great potential but will developers support it like they do the nokia and iphone , yeah its 5th edition but not all apps work on it as it as some where coded for nokia only
if you want a device that works well and will get more features and stabillity via support then go with the n97
iam happy with it
Hello all u from GSMARENA i just got the n97 black ..not bad to look at the keybored slids nicely but i have a question Any of having problem downloding from the new OVI ? i keep on getting download faild ... any advice?

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2009For those who cant decide: Iphone 3gs or N97 Quick run down: Iphone 3gs Top Features tha... morei agree had mine four days and loving it. But last nyt wen im at work i fully charged it before going for duty den i put it in my pocket ,after 4hrs it drained as in dead battery! Got nervous and noticed its warm,so removed d bat and restarted it and charged for 1.3hrs ,now im using it and still observing.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970N97 would be a better investment because the Ovi Store has a future than the app store of Samsung.
But still, it's a decision that must be made only by you.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hey what are you doing back on here. Beat it. Beat it.
It's really to bad about michael jackson. That guy had Talent.
I LOVE MY NEW NOKIA N97! I don't think any previous generation Nokia user will be unhappy with the N97, this phone rocks!
I love the familiarity of the operating system and the UI, For NOKIA USERS it is extremely intuitive to use, AND IT JUST PLAIN WORKS!
The keyboard is excellent and needs very little pressure to press(nice:) the keys are separated so making mistakes is really unlikely. The build quality is some of the best I have seen from Nokia, The phone is quick & responsive, the touchscreen is a breeze to use and has hand writing recognition, which is awesome, and only possible because of the resistive touchscreen, good for business users, just like on the HTC's Touchpro2 a resistive screen aswell, but N97's display is 16million colors & looks really very beautiful!
The reception quality is "A1"! and so is the speakerphone it is loud and crisp, just make sure hands aren't on the speakers located at left side bottom and top, it will be a little quieter if you do, but still audible.
Front screen widgets etc... are awesome, the camera is really good for a 5MP and works very well.
Overall the phone looks really really stylish and expensive!!! which it is! It has that great Nokia feel that has been their trademark, you just feel like using it and playing with it,
IT HAS GOOD FENG SHUI!
