Anonymous, 07 Jun 2009release date. june 15th. Thats not ages away. Hello mike from another ip address.man I'm having so much fun! I'm not Hassan; look at the country code and you will see! but i guess it's too hard for you! I saw that you fanboys still didn't answered to my question: why should i buy the n97? It's a simple question, and the answers should be simple too if the n97 really had something to show! This brick will use the same implementation of the symbian software as in the nokia 5800 xpress music (another waste of time!) I invite you all to read the review that the guys here at GSM Arena made on the 5800, and see how bad Nokia implemented the touch UI for symbian! It's a mess! And when I'm thinking that the same garbage will be used in the n97..oh man:)) The symbian s60 is great, but Nokia ruins it!

cc, 07 Jun 2009The hardware seemm enough But the firmware sound bad Still using scrollbar? No multitouch... moreN97 has kinetic (flick) scroll for browser. Not sure it it is supported in all apps/menus.
The hardware seemm enough
But the firmware sound bad
Still using scrollbar?
No multitouch software
Resistive is not bad but it is hard to use sometime!
Can nokia use flick scroll for menu and list? Or give us some options to choose which one we like to use in n97?
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2009Little crappy phones for sure NOT in the smartphone marketNokia still the market leader of smartphones. 37%. Ihttp://www.financialpost.com/news-sectors/technology/story.html?id=1614378'm sure with the n97 fast approaching people will consider it over the iphone3g.
Yes the link talks about competition from Rim and apple, but they are not the leader yet. The n97 will help nokia smartphone sales increase.
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2009Little crappy phones for sure NOT in the smartphone marketWatch the movie "taken". All nokia phones in there. They wanted quality.
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2009 www.Inc.com created a very interesting list of the best industries for starting a business ... moreThe reason u dnt see symbian app development on the list is probably because its pointless startin that kinda business. Unlike the iBoy symbian phone users have all the apps they need built in to their phone so there's no need. Whereas iPhone users have an app to join your pics and turn a 2mp pic to a 4mp... (wow) thats pathetic. At least if i go on a website which advertises FREE software i kno i can get it for free. With the iPhone your redirected to iTunes to pay for what i'm using for free. How does that make you feel?
