Zane, 30 May 2009Hey, what does ARM 11 434 MHz processor mean ?arm 11 434mhz means its going to be SLOOOOW

I just think nokia could do better to give this gadget more solid & durable finish! Nokia should stop making cheap material finished phones just to force us to buy new casings for them to sell more ;(

I have beed buying nokia ... moreI have the same problem w/ my nokia phones! the dispaly is scratch easily & the casing seems to fade in just months of usage. I hope nokia gives the n97 a better material finish! A scratch proof display & a real metal on the sides as it shows in the picture. Most of nokia's metallic finish on thier phones is just a shiny silver coated plastic that tends to fade easily! I hope Nokia would consider robustness in thier hi-end phones! Cause i believe costumers should get the best out of this expensive phone! But features are really great! good job nokia!
Could anywone please confirm if the n97 has a Scratch Proof dispaly. I have beed buying nokia phone since nthe n95 came out, but the only problem i have with nokia phones is that no matter how expensive or latest the phone model is nokia phones have a bad material finish! its easily scratched & colors tends to fade easily. I need comments on this post! good day!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Ya right, n97 with better screen res, better camera, vga video at 30 fps and voice guided GPS and Hardware qwerty.
Useless piece of hardware without Apple unique and GREAT user interface
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Why would you want to take photo's of molecules from books in the library when you can get Apps that show 3D molecular models on an iPhone screen, you can download and store them on your iPhone.
Universities usually have free WiFi too.
You obviously have no idea on how to utilize your iPhone to it's full potential.
If you think it's hard to dial a number on the iPhone's capacitive screen wait until you try resistive, your twenty seven presses will turn into fifty seven.
Maybe you'd be better off with a phone with a keypad.
would you please inform me about the manufacture place??? actualy all recent nokia phones from china and i'm sorry to say this i can not hold china product
this fone is gonna rock !!! can't wait to get my hand on it !!! :D
Allan, 30 May 2009Get the n97. A while back i might have said Omnia HD, but the audio for video recording has be... moreLol i went to two places ans they oth downtown and they said the Omnia HD was really sluggish cause of all the junk they put in it
but i'll stick too DvD quality since it's been perfectected since they had alot of time to work on it so N97 and 5800 and even the n86 are all good :D lol
this phone is the most safe choice
Only complaint is the xenon 128 ram and high price if compared to 5800
I am glad nokia put 434 MHz CPU
Less battery consumption
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Get the n97. A while back i might have said Omnia HD, but the audio for video recording has been reported as horrible and the battery cover can slip off easy, no more hdmi output, and i heard they also got rid of the FM transmitter!
Anonymous, 30 May 2009OmniaHD
n97 is a cpu/gpu downgrade..
the only thing you can benefit in n97 is its qwerty... moreLol the Omnia HD is a jke man it's slow as hell and samsung can't hold symbian on the phone since they've added too much extra garbage on top of the symbian OS
i've see n the preformance and i was right all along it's gonna be slow since it has tuseless stuff on it that flows down the phone in general lol and then the battery life
now long can a capasitive Hi-Res, HD playing 8mp camera phone can last for............not that long XD
cause the phone uses too much resorces from the CPU and battery just too survive
