OMG there is so much fighting here, i mean after all it's just a phone no matter what company made it. Can't you people just chill?
Just saw the review (in russian for now) from Mobile review. Camera and video even worse than 5800...Who will buy this expensive piece of c*ap ???
The N97 is definitely a gud choice for those who like taking pictures, those who love internet surfin and those who loves style in corporate!its options are more towards an n82,e90 and xpress music combined.

Anonymous, 15 May 2009The specs are on the NOKIA developers forum, from NOKIA itself.
So you think a 3rd party si... moreYea my E70 is dying after 4yers and 7 months what a shame it is
it got ran over last week still in one peice but tje hardware is damaged i'm getting 5800 soon and then an N97 lol use opera mini 4.2 and it lags sometimes when i post a dn since it got ran over it's been doing some weird things but gonna retire this badboy next week for sure for the 5800 :D
Mickis, 15 May 2009Its like porsche from 0 to 100 in 1 sektell me it is not a joke that n97 is already available.
Everybody knows that 434MHz is not enough for an High end phone like this one! If the phone was selling for 450 EUR or 540USD it would be normal. But now Nokia is trying to use their old CPU to save money! Cheap Nokia cheap, shame Nokia shame! Omnia HD FTW!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970The specs are on the NOKIA developers forum, from NOKIA itself.
So you think a 3rd party site has better information than the company making the phone.
What's with the multiple posts?
Your E70 playing up, typical Nokia.
Anonymous, 15 May 2009Yeah right, so you think you gonna go into a store and they will make it on the spot?
They ... moreHave you even checked to site yet cause it has all the CPU specs and the N97 isn't filled up yet and it says it's not thje final product yet
i don't know what ARM version the N97 is running cause most nokiaare running ARM 11 ver6 and the OHD is running ver7 and it might be ver7 as well
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yeah right, so you think you gonna go into a store and they will make it on the spot?
They would be in production now and getting ready to ship, to change the CPU would need FCC approval which would delay things by a few more months.
N97 is Releasing here in UAE in June 09,see video here
Anonymous, 14 May 2009While the CPU could have been better, as long as the N97 has at least half the processor speed... moreso the N97 is pretty fast then :D cause my friend has an E71 and i told him why would their be any need to have a 600Mhz clockspeed in a phone if you don't need it 369 is fast for his E71 he told me and i know 400 is fast cause i used the Inet tablet N810
it wasn't as slow as peeople mentioned on the web
Ac, 14 May 2009How fast is it?
The response time? While the CPU could have been better, as long as the N97 has at least half the processor speed of WinMobile/OSX phones, it'll still be faster than the competitors. Symbian is a extremly well polished OS, with monthly (if not weekly) firmware updates. Obviosly everything is free, and you're not forced to anything...
Just for an example, compare the N95's camera now and in 2007 - the difference is almost as big as the difference between 5800 and N97. Except the N97 to be even better in the future...
In 2001 Nokia made the first widely availible 3G-phone. Since then, Nseries phones have always included all media functions availible for the time being, and N97 proves it (32+ GB, nHD, 10mbps HSDPA, 2mbps HSUPA etc.)
Nokia Lord, 14 May 2009Hope Nokia will announced some real capacitive touchscreen phone very soon, cause i just can't... morecheck out the phone on symbian-freak.com
the nokia nautilus i think
it's linux mobile
and it's capasitive screen and they have a very innovative wait to interact with the user you should take a look
looks really sexy lol
