I've had this phone since July 2009. My overall opinion, it's not bad. As far as the GPS goes, I've had no problems with it at all. In fact, the GPS is the best thing about the phone for me. I've learned to cope with the C drive memory issues. I've moved as many apps as possible to my E drive. I've also learned to avoid downloading apps that are made directly by Nokia. The Nokia apps always load directly to your C drive and take up too much memory. This includes apps like Nokia internet radio. You don't have a choice as to where you want the nokia made apps to be stored. Most other third party apps will allow storage to the E drive or SD card. For instance, instead of Nokia internet radio you should use Tunewiki. Tunewiki has just as much functionality and you can store it on your E drive. I've also learned that I can go to app manager and remove apps that are located on the C drive. In app manager, I am able to distinguish apps that are loaded on the C drive, from apps that are loaded on the hard drive (E drive). Apps that are loaded on the E drive will have a distinguishing symbol next to them that indicates so. Apps that are loaded onto the C drive will not have this symbol. Delete those apps that do not have a symbol next to them in order to clear up your phone memory and allow greater usability. However, be care when doing this. Most of the programs on your C drive are program files that the phone needs in order to operate properly. Removing those types of files could have unwanted consequences. Only remove those files in which you are confident are just user apps. Once this is accomplished, you will begin to appreciate your N97 more than users who have not cleared their C drive memory. Good luck.
