One asked for more megapixel
another asked more ram, then another one said the processor is slow, then another one just farted from his mouth...
Ok... It's funny how they asked for more than 5 megapixels for cellphone when they had no idea what's the purpose for megapixels. Hahaha!
I'm not typing to praise this ugly looking phone, but to enlighten the uneducated people in this forum, seems like a lot here thought that when you have higher megapixel means the picture will come out clearer and more beautiful compare to the lower megapixel... Hahaha!
Too many wannabees here Hahahaha! Just to shower you a bit info. about megapixel, Megapixel got nothing to do with clarity on a picture it will not also give you an orgasm as well hahaha! It only means higher megapixel equals bigger picture when you print it on a paper hahahaha!

All the other reviews so far say it doesn't.
im a proud owner of the n95 8gb and i love it to bits contract doesnt finish for a wile. september actually. but so far this phone is what id be looking for. i been thinking about these touch phones. espically nokia there the best. shame theres no 8 megapixel version of nokia phones yet though.
Honestly, not that interesting. I'm not a fanboy, but to tell you the truth, S phones have the best design and build-quality. Nokia's N-series line-up have the best features, but the designs are seriously lacking.
To be honest the phone is big and thick and uncomfortable even the n96 I would not get. rather stay with the N95,n82 etc.
One of my friend works for Nokia and he got a pre-released version of n97 for testing the softwre. I could not resist myself from take a close look on the phone. Everything is just amazing in the phone, except for 2 things.
First one is The phone is bulky. And not cool/fancy like the iPhone or nokia Tube. Due to the physical full keypad the thickness of the phone has increased and you will feel uncomfortable carrying it around in your shirt pocket. I dont like the mechanical system which brings the keypad out (Though it works smoothly). Instead they could provide a software keypad like iPhone or Nokia Tube.
The part which I disliked most is the screen sensitivity. Maybe it was a prototype hence things will improve in retail version. But the screen is not responsive enough. Just like a Tablet PC, you have to tap once to select a icon, and double tap to open it, but the taps has to be a bit harder (I was actually pressing the screen with finger rather then touching it.
The menus/shortcuts are well designed, but the scrollbars are not designed well. scrollbars are so small that you can may find it difficult to scroll without a stylus.
3D Bounce and A Racing game (I dont remember the name)was pre installed in the device. In the racing game you have to control the car by tilting the phone left and right. The tilt sensor is over sensitive. if you tilt the phone even a centimeter, the car crashes to the road side buildings. However I am not sure whether it's my poor gaming experience or it was really an Over sensitive tilt sensor which ruined the fun!
Good thing is that the phone charges via USB. Photos taken with the 5 Mpix camera looks fine in the awsom big screen, But could not get a chance to transfer the images to my laptop as I was not carrying it then, But since it's a carl zeiss, hope picture quality will be good as n95. Sound quality is also fine via external speakers. As the phone was given to my friend to test the softwares, some functionalities were disabled like GPS, WiFi etc. so could not test them.
Overall It a very good phone and definately will do well in market. But If the touch sensitivity is not improved in the final release, people may still want to stick to n95/n79/n82 etc models which offers similar functionalities today.
