I only need one word to describe this phone...pointless
Nokia please just focus on making exciting, new handsets instead of rehashing old ones like Sony and Nintendo do with their handhelds

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Rathee, it is for 510 euro and that means RS 51000. You can find it on any of the mobile phone markets.
Wow! The most amazing mobile in the nokia history! I've buyed this mobile only in 510 euro. It had many features! I've downloaded several games and pictures, songs and themes. It didn't notified that memory is full because it had a large capacity! It is touch screen. But this is fragile about 0.6 feet if we will without pressure throw it so it will broke. The internet allows me to chat with my friends on Facebook and Windows Live Messenger. Also I blockyell by internet to those of the people who have blocked or deleted me.so this hasn't came to worldwide markets. I was the first one to buy this.
frnds plzzz tell me this phn is dual sim ? what do u mean by dual sim?dual sim option is available in this phn plz tell me urgent plzzzzz?
guneet, 12 Sep 2009same but normal n97 has 32gb this only has 8gbtrable phone
nokia only made this cuz people said n97 was too costly. Camera specs nd every other thing in the mini are same with the normal n97 except for the keyboard arrangement and 32gb of space and, well, the battery of course. Please note, if you're getting any of them, for easier messaging and texting with no lens cover for the camera, go for n97 mini. For better ngage gaming, excess memory, a lens cover that scratches the camera surface when slid, and a bit more juice on battery, get n97. Also note that they're both almost same on stability, the mini might seem more stable cuz its handling less disk memory (8gb).
Bad decision of Nokia indeed. If I pay 150 euro's less for less memory and a some other small points, why bother? I can buy a micro SD card of 16 GB for 40 euro's xD
please pray that it is not more than 150 pounds.
i know that ti is not gonna be possible, but still.....
Here you can see all difference between the N97 and the N97 Mini:
Ok. Let's get something straight from the start. The fact that the dpad is set on the left of the keyboard doesn't mean that the phone is intended for left hand users. I had the nokia 3300 which used the same layout and i still swear that that phone has the best keyboard. The reason for having the dpad there is gaming...the n-gage used the same layout and any gaming console that i can think of uses the same layout. I don't understand why, but no one complained about this in the psp as far as i know...anyway, i hope that the keypad is better than the original n97, because that phone has an appaling thumbboard. Almost no feedback from the keys, very little travel distance and it only has 3 rows (something nokia has chosen not to address in the n900 too). You can probably get used to it, but i don't want to spend an arm and a leg to "get used to it". After using any of the communicators thumbboards you will understand what i'm talking about.the 9210 for example is an ancient phone but you can't find as good a qwerty keyboard in any other phone. And the e90's isn't bad either...
Is this mini version made of metal except the resistive screen?
Battery cover and the body is made of metal?
First of all this phone's keyboard looks more normal than the normal version, which's navigational button seems to fit better the left-handed ppl. Personaly, as a right-handed european, i belive that this device fits better my needs and also the slightly ellegant finish is among pros. Maybe this will sound a little bit far fetched, but an update like this has been expected, so the normal version's price will decrease and this way it will become available to lower buget pokets. Overall, it's worth waiting for its release!
