Ngage is one of the best phones to be released in the last 2 years. The damn phone terrible... Cross, Angry, Miserable. Crazily insane... U betta know how it haaard, Full Movies, Mp3s games wah els u waan?
I've had this 'phone for almost two years now and I don't like it very much. I'm only using it because it's much better than the Motorola T720 I was using (not hard, the T720 is AWFUL). But to answer some questions:
* N-Gage vs N-Gage QD: I think QD may be better, but I've heard that some features were removed. Better check it for yourself.
* MP3 Capability: To transfer MP3s from your computer, or even to use the mike-in port, you MUST have a MMC/SD card installed. With onboard memory (8MB shared), it will only let you record VERY low quality with the built-in microphone.
* Games: I've only played two games (Tomb Raider - which is the one game I own just to show people - and SonicN), but I must say they were nasty. The screen is small and the controls are fiddly. In Tomb Raider, the colours are very washed out, making it even harder to see what's going on.
* Transferring files: You can only transfer MP3s using the cable which comes in the box, all other files must be transferred by Bluetooth (MP3s can also be transferred this way). Why it was designed this way is beyond me. Also, the cable can only put files on an MMC/SD card, not in the built-in memory.
I've got literally a dozen game systems at home - including several handhelds - and I gotta say, if you're looking for portable gameplay, buy something else like a PSP, DS, GP32, whatever, and just buy a "regular" mobile 'phone. N-Gage games cost just as much as the others, but they don't play even half as well in my opinion.
can this phone get full mp3 songs and do you have to have a memory card to get them?
PLZ answer me

I've got problem with my N-Gage.It seems that the MP3 ringtone only works as a ringtone, not message tone.Is it true?or my phone got a problem?e-mail me firstname.lastname@example.org...help!!
I have had my N-Gage for a yr plus & it's a true companion. It's MP3 palyback quality is cool even when i compress my songs from 128k to 56k. It's the loudest Nokia phone yet & it's very stable. Now that i have gone Symbian, there's notin else for me. The Only regret i have is dat it does not play mp4 & it's got just 3.4mb shared internal memory. I which it had a Cam sometimes u know. Personaly QD sucks the only plus it has is it's hot swap memory slot
Guys i am palnning to buy a new mobile please help me choose between Nkia 6600, Ngage and NgageQD. Which one is the best between Ngage and QD
the ngage has the same symbian os as my nokia 3650. in order to play mp3's on my phone I found software online(google) for the os for the phone, thats right the phone should accept symbian os programs. there is even a movie player from lonely cat software. I convert and watch tv shows and movies on the phone. I had to buy a 128MB mmc card but I can hold 2 tv shows and about 50 low bit mp3's and still have room to spare. so the bottom line is to look into symbian os s60 software with .sis extentions. Have fun looking!
