I think nokia X is a change in the android scenario... the same old three key design and grid like UI. It,s time to change to something new useful, bold and different. X gives you all this at a decent price. Hardware is nice a build quality is very good. I have been using it for last two months.After software update to 1.1.2.2 the available RAM increased and the battery backup too increased. If you need more backup then simply switch off the SIM which you use less often which will increase backup. If wi-fi is available then use that instead of mobile data which will give you more speed and less battery drainage. Use Opera version 21 in off-road mode to have more speed and less data consumption. if full web experience is needed then disable the off-road mode. The mail client app is more than enough for mailing GMAIL synchronizes perfectly with it and all the attachments in the mail can be easily downloaded. If highspeed download is required then install FDDM from Nokia Store, it will increase download speed upto 4 times. Download Tubemate app for youtube download and viewing. its also there in the Nokia store. If office application is needed then install Kignsoft office suite from Store. this app will cater for reading PDF too. If e book reader is needed then install coolreader app from store. For playing HD videos Mx player is there as well as VLC. Nokia music player app will give on every decent music experience with preset and customizable graphic equalizer. Whatsapp version 2.11.186 works perfectly with Nokia X. Facebook, BBM comes pre installed.Installing and uninstalling is very easy. To uninstall a app simply long press on the app and then press the cross and its over....If HERE map doesn't fulfill the need then install google maps that works perfectly in Nokia X. But HERE is nice and powerfull too. One cleanup app comes with software update 1.1.2.2 which is also there in the store.Its very useful in freeing up RAM by closing unnecessary apps that's running in the background.More over there is a app from nokia called Mobile broadcast which gives you your location based on the mobile tower accessed. To enable it start the channel 50 in the settings of the mobile broadcast app.
Most of the comments that are posted about this phone are from people who either don't have this set and are talking like whimsical or they are technically not sound enough and don't know how to get things done. few genuine users like Firedragon and PhoneFanatic share the real experience about the phone. So my sincere request to all the readers and the to be buyers that PLEASE DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY BY FAKE AND WRONG INFORMATION. Hear from the real users. This is a nice decent phone with decent features at a decent price for decent users. So GO FOR IT >>>>>>>>>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its awesome phone guys its best phone ... its micromax , sony ,samsung
no hangs problem , camera quality its brillent ( according too 3mp) and good display size all games are run smoothly guys my advice is go it its cost is.7k only

I have already used Samsung S Duos and Samsung Tab 2. I wanted to try something new I pinned Nokia X. I also gone through lots of negative reviews most of them seem like they are comparing this device with Samsung S5 or higher end device???. We all admire Google for its services but I am not having any share I do not work for Google. Why stick to so called Pure Android? .Another thing to look for is the device quality Nokia Provides I ordered Nokia X.
I am using this for more than two weeks I would say Nokia X exceeds the expectation within the offered price range. Nokia X is best in class, Value for Money device.
Here is the answer of blah..blah I gone through before buying this

1. No Gmail – Configure you gmail account with “Email” Application.
2. No WhatsApp – Install it from 1Mobile Market. 1Mobile Market is available in Default Store.
3. No YouTube – Open Browser and Navigate to YouTube site.
4. No Chrome – Install it from 1Mobile Market.
5. No GoogleMap – Nokia Here App installed. Download the Map and use it offline as well.
What you are getting
1. A Device with good quality. Nokia is always trusted for this.
2. Brand New Fluid User Interface. No Android like grid icons.
3. Fastlane – Advance Notifier . Shows every recent activities in one place maintains history.
4. Dual Sim works great.
5. 3MP Camera with Fixed focus.(Do not buy if you are expecting more)
6. 480 x 800 Pix LCD Display. (Do not buy if you are expecting more).
7. Good Battery easily last for day thanks to NO google background processes which drains your battery.
9. One more good thing If you don't like the Factory App you can simply Uninstall those
