camera quantity is not that good.. with flash it looks pretty ugly.. s40 symbian os make it workfast but literally no software is available for this phone.. i will give it 6/10.

Please suggest a simple phone for me. I want a good camera, good keypads, intuitive interface, good battery life. I'm not really into internet or touchscreen, though I don't mind the simpler forms. I prefer nokia brand but I'm open to other brands too. Thanks a lot.

I need to replace my old phone. I am not very interested in internet, touchscreen, etc. I want a phone with a great camera(5mp, autofocus with flash if possible), good battery, no hanging problems, nice keypad. can you suggest a good phone for me? I prefer Nokia, but I'm open to other brands.

Update the X2 mobile software to Version 8.17. Previously it was 4.90 and they have done some many changes like performance. Its really awesome.

i got this just a week ago.Absolutely having no problems atall.I am just using a 1gb memory card.I wanted a simple phone and this is pretty much it.Only irritating this is u cant mark ur messages.
And there is only 1 alarm.my previous W705 had 5 alarms.anyone can suggest me some multiple alarm free applications for x2

I bought this handset three weeks.I really regret having bought this.Its really BAD in terms of menu options esp msging.I owned 5130 before I bought this one. It was really very nice in terms of mark all, delete msgs and lot other cut and paste options. This one is HOPELESS!

This phone is far below my expectations. Shame on Nokia for advertising false information. On paper it seems very good, but in practice… I have it for 5 months now and it’s impossible to achieve more than 7 days in standby, far below advertised, since I rarely speak on the phone.
The camera produces low quality images and can’t focus close objects, making it useless for qrcode reading. I was forced to buy a macro lens for that purpose.
The music player is competent, but sound quality could be better. The standard connector is a plus though.
The phone is very fragile too. I was force to buy protective screen cover and a silicon cover for the phone.
But some features are good: the Bluetooth works really well and there are a lot of sync options, including SyncML (for web calendar synchronization). The e-mail application also is very easy to setup e the Ovi stuff works really well. The s40 interface only showed glitches one time in this 5 months. I’ll consider buying other phone only if I can find something with better battery life and the same features.
The bottom line is: too expensive for the features, especially the low battery life

Really want to appreciate your knowledge .. i Have a defined set of requirements with my phone ....... request you to tell me which phone suits me the best for the foll: uses with the phone:
Nokia X2 or Nokia c2-01 or SE Cedar
1) Camera to take pictures ....... videos sometimes
2) Ease in operating Radio & Music player .... I listen to it like 2-3hrs a day while travelling to my office
3) user friendly phone to send sms (send to as many contacts as possible) & make calls
please help with your advise

I own x2 and later bought cedar. I'm not bluffing like you.
Remember this cedar got very good quality when it comes to music. The phone delivers quality output at lowest and highest volume , other than x2 which loses clarity terribly once u increase the vol.
In cedar just the vol. Is low not quality.
Cedar got a fine camera like in c5 and 5233(which is realy stunning.)
X2 can be compared to 3110s 1.3mp camera.x2 got numbers and no performance.

ur mistaken
i have mentioned about 6700 classic which is s40 and 6700 slide is s60 osOops. I thought 6700 slide.
That doesnt go with 6700c.
But again after 2010 is there an exception like it.
Most s40s lose in clarity but wins in mpixels.
X2,x3,c2-01....several like them.
These got mp but no clarity compared to the same megapixeld s60 siblings.

Defenitely cedar. Got 3g, superb video clarity, display clarity, fine 30fps video recording(x2 is 18fps), multitasking and great battery backup too.
Keep in mind the bad stuff too.
Cedar got half the volume x2 got.
Single speaker.
and No flash.
If from 6500 price range buy c5.
If from 9000 range buy elm.

Got one of these yesterday at auction, can you believe it, I paid $20 for it, brand new in a box. Great phone.
