its called marketing ,thinking from the manufacturer side.

n70 is a smartphone,a true smartphone.s40 isn't.
s60 can play divx videos xvid videos and nowadays in c5 it runs .avi too i think.
divx always got more clarity than mp4 ,and x2 can display video properly(maximum possible) with only around 980kbps video bitate in mp4.divx usually got more
if you value your money,
buy c5 or if its pricey for you have a look at cedar.its your choice now.

here's it....
x2 is the good one.(among x2 & x3)
-both lack 3g
-both have low video clarity
-both got avg audio clarity
-same output through headset
-occassional restarts
-both cameras lack color absorbing
but x2 got a big resolution camera.with a big flash.also x2's speaker is really loud.
apart from that x3 is a slider and got thousands of complaints over its slide mechanism
remember this too...x2 can't deliver half of what n70 deliverd to you..
if you can spend upto a 6800 buy c5,its a real winner,
the best in its range + a good s60interface. got a really nice camera too.

Got fucked up by those false infos 'bout this cellular phone... Battery only lasts for 20 hrs (with regular use, like texting)
they said, this is the clear/loudest Cellphone of the nokia series, but the truth is... IT'S NOT! stereo speakers getting fucked up with those weired noises at High Volume when playing an MP3 file...
Ringtone isn't LOUD enough unlike SAMSUNG's Cellular Phones. X2 Vibrates like a toy, it's freaking useless...
but it has awesome and crystal clear 5MP Camera for Recording & Picture taking, so no wonder why it costs you LOW PRICE

hey guys this cell is good for its price.but the battery and camera is not at all up to the mark.I feel cheated by its quality

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2011In my opinion i must say if u want music Cedar sucks very low bass effect on Sennheiser HD-202... morei dont think so.
cedar's speaker is too low,but not music through headsets.
i have tried both x2 and cedar with some of the best headsets in the market ranging from sennheisser MX470,soundmagic pl11, creative HS-150 (computer headset), sony ep630& cedar's bundled MH610,...
every time cedar performed the best.
what x2 cruicially lacks is clarity, the loudness and bass is almost equal though sometimes feel cedar got more.this is with no megabass and once megabass is on cedar just wiped x2 in bass.x2 didn't reach up in bass even after adjusting equaliser setings.

apart fom that,x2 is better than x3.
the max video bitrate which both x2 and x3 can show is just 1080kbps and the max video resolution in 320*240.
on the other hand sony cedar the max bitrate it can display is 2428kbps (realHD) and the max video resolution is 720*580.
if you feel i'm lying try for yourself,
go convert a video into mp4 with 360*270 resolution and try running it in x2,the phone consider it an audio file.no video is displayed, only audio.i've a good experience trying several times on my x2 and failing each time.
