I've bought my X2 last October 2010, the version was v4.80. There were some problems in this version like after taking a picture, there should be a span of time before you can view or delete it. But after I upgraded the version into v4.90 all problems got solved.
I also obeserved that Nokia X2 has a faster transition compared to other nokia phones.
As you know the camera has 5mp, but it's not auto focus, so you must have a photographer essence so that you can take great photo.
It has a loud speaker, but if you max the volume of the phone the music will become cocky, but if you used headphones or other headset, the music is really awesome.
I rate the phone 8/10 because for its fast transition.

[deleted post]For better music,fm, memory and camera go for Nokia X2. For better internet, social networking, typing and wi fi go for Nokia c3. For 3g go for Nokia 7230. For better display and looks(s.s. body) go for Nokia 6303i. For best internet like HSPDA, video calling, multitasking, software downloads, office applications, GPS, 3.5g, VGA video recording go for Nokia C5. For all the above features of C5 plus Wi Fi plus music plus 32gb expandable memory go for Nokia X5. X5 a musical blockbuster smartphone with unusual square shape. All the Nokia models are best at their price and value for money. Its your choibe my dear!

i dont agree the camera quality is 7/10 which is worth for a budget phone.the phone comes with a cover on its lens which must b removed to avoid unwanted brighness in the image.
net surfing is awesome.

Please buy latest edition of My Mobile magazine and read it. Nokia X2 has got 84% X3 has got 86% 5233 80% Corby 80% Nokia 6700c 90% Nokia 6700 slider 82%. Most of the phones are below 80%. How can a phone with 84% can be bad ? Only a small fraction of the rich people are bashing this phone because X2 is middle class budget smartphone affordable to common man.

no 3g or autorotate and a f++kng price.
giving u a 2MP camera saying its 5Mp.bt give clarity of 2mp?
d media keys r awful too hard to pres wen holding phone need to use both hands.

A Typical INDIAN DESI PHONE rough & tough with torch inbuilt antenna and 5 mp camera.Indians doesn't use 3g and other smart features like wifi they consider price also and that is right thing they do.
GO FOR X2 if U have planned it

nokiax2 is very good mobile. but its camera is very poor and also its not a 3G supported mobile. so 4m me "PLZ, DONT'BUY THIS MOB.BUT IF U WANT 2 BE A FOOL THEN U CAN BUY IT" thats all.......thank you

I am not happy with my Nokia X2. As i found; user interface and compatibility is not good as my expectation. Since, this is comparatively a low budget phone so, my expectation is not that much high. Yes, i experienced bad with S40 series software before, but thought this x2 can be good. X2 phone book do not have any option to add a contact in a group while adding a new contact. All fonts and symbol is larger than any other phone which looks odd. Flash is only set to name not to work.
