its price in the Philippines is about Php 6000. Go for prepaid kit on Globe. Only Php 5395

Main cause of hanging was faulty memory cards and in some cases software bug. Check import date on X2 s box. If it is aug 10 then dont buy it. Buy only if import date is sep 10 which is latest stock.

Buying X2 later will also ensure you get x2 with 4.9 version with improved camera and battery performance and no hanging problems.

ive just bought it earlier and it really annoys me a lot. :( yes its cheap, i thought i had a jackpot on this. It has a huge hanging problem. ive read here that there should be a software update first bfore it can function normally. but for Christ sake.. why should WE be the one to upgrade it? Before it should be released, things like this must be taken cared of already. And Ive already checked the software update in Nokia website, there's still no 4.9v.. :( where can i find it? can somebody help me on this? thank you in advance.

Wait till X3-touch and type arrives in jan 2011. It will be the biggest blockbuster of nokia in 2011. With cost of Rs. 7500.00 only X3 touch and type have features like 3g wi fi touchscreen 32 gb expandable memory and 5 mp EDOF camera it is the Dabangg of all phones.

Check import date if it is aug 10 then defective and if sep 10 then perfect with new software and better memory card. You can update its software to 4.9 and change your faulty memory card at nokia care. After this your phone will become perfect. Battery and camera performance will improve substantially and hanging problems will be over for ever. If X2 had S60 platform then multitasking would have been possible on this phone. Nokia has history of releasing new phones without proper software checks. Even huge blockbusters like N70,N72,N73,3110c had similar problems like X2. These problems were solved with software updates. This is my personal experience with nokia. I own N72, Nokia 3500c and Nokia X2 (bought on Oct 08 import date Sep 10 at price of rs. 5600.00) and had no problems with them. I use kingston 8 gb microSd card with my X2 and had no problems with it.

The very day I purchased X2,I faced lots & lots of problems.The cell used to hang every second & switch off automatically.I literally rushed to the Nokia service center. I gotta know that there were lots of defects in the handset,though it was purchased from a reputed outlet. Even after service,there is problem with the battery.it doesn't finish charging even after 6 hrs.It must be made sure that such defective handsets shouldn't be out in the market.Please bring it to the notice of Nokia.
