there is one good newz and one bad news
good newz _ the phone is released in mumbai
bad newz - its price is around 10k instead of 5 k
i knw its unbelievable but the reality :(

Nokia x2 will next hit phone after Nokia 6233. All who wants to buy 6233 but miss it then go for X2. I think x2 broke all record of 6233 with performance. I give it 10/10.

i have bought that phone just yesterday and i have found out itis very Good phone its looking is very good and its sound is very very high its raido works without headsets to connected
i belive JAVA phones last long than symbian ones so i will switch from sybian to java as i have an E52 and in just 2 month usage its GPS is down and nokia care has no idia why or how to fix !!!
so i bought X2 in order to just try X seriouse and it is a good one and also has a marvelse benifet if you are going to save same no. you have on phone again the phone tell you you have it allready this is good

another thing about charging when connected to computer through usb cable:
for more than 8 hours it's been sitting there, battery is not yet fully charged.
with 5630 charging through this method much less time (i think no more than 3 hours)
i will try to charge it this week end with its regular charger and see if charging is ok.

1. Is the clock screensaver displayed in standby mode or does the screen go black?
2. Is the ringtone volume loud?

sreeraj, 29 Jul 2010can use flash as a torch like sony phonesYes. Just long press asterisk(*) button. The flash will automatically ligthened. Good for night time. But it could be better if can use for video.

I already look up on setting bout i cannot reduce the brightness. Also the keypad was not really good. The flash was so clear & it reflects on every images it just like with flourescent effect. I'm just wondering that 5MP camera is not really compatible to a QVGA/256K screen resolution. But for me, at cheap price over all, still good. Hope nokia will improve it.

[deleted post]You can visit your nearest nokia store and ask for available unit or a reservation. But this phone i bought it at globe business center. So no need to worry for the application. Since it is already configured by globe. After i bought GPRS/MMS/OVI MAIL & other application are already accessible. Also at discounted price with free globe SIM. I ask bout the price on the regular market, i wisely know that i save almost 700 pesos. Globe have their prepaid packages where you can purchase @ discounted rates. The phone & accesories warranty by globe & nokia.

Hellen, 28 Jul 2010Hey you don't mention about its music and speakers, please say something about them.Also i already configured my email accounts on my X2. I just call my network provider. The Flasf of the camera so good & clear. The images are so crisp. Also i use it for flashlisht. Long life battery. Really good. The browser (opera mini) performed very fast. I already set up my OVI mail account. Nice phone comes with free 2GB MMC. Since i'm a music lover i really love the speaker sound, no need to put headset to use the radio. But the thing i don't like is the HEADSET of this package. No casuallity at all. Its hard to put it on my ear, its always gets down. Bad headset. I hope nokia will make a better design of headset on the other phone that they launch.

i just bought this phone and tried out for a few days. here are some comments:
good:
-built-in radio antenna so no need to plug headset to activate fm radio
-nice speakers
-battery charges when you connect to computer with a usb cable (not included in standard package)
-handy flash light
bad:
-poor plastic built. i feel sharp edges (may scratches on a new phone) aluminum battery cover has embossed nokia logo kinda annoying at times (i also feel this will be dirty magnet really soon)
-media player can play video (i have tried a divx movie converted to mp4) it plays the video but the processor don't seem to handle it well. from time to time video and/or audio pauses. quite annoying and you will never want to watch a movie with this device.
-battery seem to charge forever but it seem to run out quickly. i don't use it regularly so i may have to test again.
-display is too bright and i cannot find a way to decrease brightness.
-fonts are too big (even with minimum settings) give this device to your grannies, no problem.
-home screen is not very friendly with your wallpaper. it tends to clutter the display.
-i am not impressed with the 5mp camera. i don't see any advantage over 3mp camera of my 5630.
-key on the side are too soft that you can accidentally press some bottons.
-flat keypad may take some getting used to
over-all, it is not worth the buy. the only advantage of 5mp camera is not impressive at all. i may need more time with this phone to see its worth but so far, i am wishing i have bought another phone.

Now Nokia uk online shop telling that availability
"END OF AUGUST". I dont know what is going on they thought we are fools. Hereafter its not worth to wait for this phone better buy other company phones.

Hi guys. I Bought this phone Nokia X2 just today only. I was really amaze bout the specifications. I hope this will good at last. The Phone Camera really clear also the flash is good & sounds amaze. And the other application games are so good. I expect that this will last as good as my X2 can.
