Do you mean accessing them through browser ? or are there gmail and yahoo email apps for available for S40 platform ? While trying to solve this problem I have come across many posts on various forums including Nokia support forums where many C3 users are complaining about the same error from the in-built email app of the device which is essentially the same that we have in X2-01. Since, C3 and X2-01 both are using the 'nokia messaging 3.0 for S40' as its default email applications the errors which are given in both the devices are the same, one thing is clear that the new email application from Nokia for latest S40 devices is not thoroughly tested before launch. well, I really hope it is solved by 10th of Feb. I will try to get in touch with Nokia care myself and will post the outcome.

Class, Class, Class.
Wht a gr8 phone. In terms of durability, usability and bang for the bucks, Nokia rocks in low and medium price range. Very soon Nokia will rock in the high end range too(Maemo, meego will rock the smartphone world). Bravo Nokia!
After following discussions on this board I decided to buy the X2-01. As said by others everything works alright except for the e-mail set up which returns a communication error. The salesman at the dealer was trying to convince me that it works fine with pre-paid cards, I told him I had a post-paid with a data package activated, as soon as I put my sim card in the phone I got the phone specific settings from the operator and the phone was good to go. Although some how I feel that on the same connection the internet is a bit slow compared to my previous nokia device. I switched to this because I badly needed a qwerty for emails and now emails are not working on this. I am not much into phone camera photography so I dont have any complaints from the lack of a better camera but I really want the emails to work. A request to others who have bought, if share your experiences that how come some have got their emails set up flawlessly and some have not, lets see if its related to a particular operator, I am using a airtel sim.
adi, 05 Feb 2011is it sybian? Or not? Can anyone help me?it does not support symbian and belongs to s40(java.)

Helo every one. I'm a regular nokia user. Before this set I was using 6600 & n-70.
just two days ago I purchased it in Univercell for 3700+.Ading 5% tax it cost me 4050 rupees. well it's a stylish looking phone, 8gb it's a lot of space, Qvga camera reasonabally ok, according to it's budget.
overall it's good one.
But, After using this phone for two days I came across 2 miner problem!
1st problem is there is no option to control brightness in settings > display area.
2nd problem is there is no "MENU" button or a shortcut key to display menu so I can toggle between menu & other programes
I mean how should I open contacts or create note while I was browsing the net without exiting or closing internet?
See if I press & hold the menu button in nokia n70 it displays a list of active programs, so I can choose any programe I want to.
IF anyone knows about these qwerty key board phones well, and know the solution please post your openion.
What is the exapandable memory of this phone....is it 16 gb or 8 gb
No doubt a failure. In Philippines the C3 cost less than 1,000 pesos more and is slimmer, has 2mpix camera and WiFi. Never before did you get more for ~900 pesos.
lucky, 04 Feb 2011i am using nokia x2 earlier version ... i liked d look of new x2(qwerty) ... is it preferable ... moreif u are willing to sacrifise ur 5 mp snapper u can surely go for the new X2-01...if u cant then, stick to ur old X2....what matters while choosing ur device is what ur requirments are...sort those out and decide urself !!! :-)
