Nokia have finally realise with the speakers on the N8,C7 an C6.01 have been placed in the wrong position,as you can not lay these phones down with the screen visible to you an still get full sound from the speakers,so you have to lay these phones with no screen visibilty to you to get full sound from these phones.o.k the N8 as a little camera rim but sound is still dim ,we want the speakers on the side like the 5800 an X6,so thats why the design of this phone looks odd to allow you to get full volume an still see the screen
come on nokia its time to grow up. whats d point in giving a fixed focus camera for a smartphone and a slow processor.
shame on nokia..
Anonymous, 28 Nov 2010"why nokia donot use 1 GHZ cpu" "bad proccesor" Yes its bad, approxi... morewhat? Symbian does not need a 1GHZ processor, it is a light OS, 680MHZ is fast enough, if not faster then enough. and the processor does not make any difference to the apps you can have.
How many units can Nokia come out with at once? None of them ever reach their full sales potential & the names are so confusing. This phone seems to be about watching media (screen size & speaker), but it's still pretty redundant. All at once, there's the N8, C7, C6-01, C6. Who can keep up with all of these, seemingly meaningless, coded names? We all know the iPhone and the progression to the iPhone 4. Nokia just confuses us and doesn't allow any of their high-end units to reach sales potential.
nokia always have a chepest mind..thtsway they can't put 1ghz prosessor or 512 mb ram in those old dated phones..shame on nokia..
josh, 28 Nov 2010because 1GHZ processer drains the battery too fast and it battery hungry, and besides symbian ... moreNo, 45nm C-A8 1GHz CPUs (e.g. OMAP3630, S5PC110) drain LESS power than old ARM11 CPU.
It's basically Symbian CANNOT use them. It's too old, and that's all. m7Is explained well.
"Symbian on Cortex or Snapdragon will cause software issues that will require recompiling everything, and since codepaths cannot be incorporated then it would require separate versions of all apps."

Yes its bad, approximately twice as slow as the 1 year old N900, and why?? Why could N900 have a decent processor a year ago and N8/E7/X7 cant have now, a year later?
Because Symbian will not run on anything newer then Arm11. N900 has Linux, the limitation in processors didnt apply. Symbian on Cortex or Snapdragon will cause software issues that will require recompiling everything, and since codepaths cannot be incorporated then it would require separate versions of all apps.
A Snapdragon symbian phone would have exactly zero available apps.
For sorry...Now adays Nokia is the worst...nothing no...and nothing good....
